昨日、飼育員さんとお話しする機会がありましたので、この質問をさせていただきました。そうしたら・・・(^_^)。
飼育員さん「口内炎は聞いたこともないし、経験ないなぁ。ただ、何かができちゃって塗り薬を塗ったことならあったような・・・だいぶ前だけどね」

Yesterday, I could talk with a penguins' keeper, so I asked this question to her . Then... :-)
The keeper "I have not heard about mouth ulcers and I have no experience. However, I have a memory that something wrong appeared in a penguin's mouth and I applied an ointment to it long time ago."
