全日本柔道強化チームも年明けから活動しています。
１月７日には、強化選手を対象にしたオンライン説明会が開催されました。
男子と女子に分かれて行われ、男子は鈴木監督が、女子は増地監督が、それぞれ2023年度の強化方針や強化計画、活動テーマなどを説明したほか、アンチドーピングに関する講義なども行われ、非常に充実した時間となりました。
全日本柔道強化チームではこうした機会を毎年持ってきましたが、監督が選手たちに直接語りかける機会を持つのはとても重要なことだと思います。
監督が強化の方向性を選手達にはっきりと示すことで、選手は強化選手としての自分を再確認し、提示された強化計画の中で何をすれば良いか考えることができます。また、監督の熱い思いも一緒に受け取るのではないかと思います。
私は全日本強化副委員長として男女両方に参加しましたが、男女それぞれ監督のカラーがよく表れており、2023年度も個性あふれるチーム作りになっていくのではないかと期待がふくらみました。

Strengthening Policy Briefing for Men’s and Women’s Teams
The All Japan Strengthening Team has been active since the start of the year.
On January 7th we held an online training seminar for the team athletes.
The seminar was split with coach SUZUKI working with the men’s team and coach MASUCHI with the women’s. They presented their plans, strategies and topics for 2023. There was also a lecture on anti- doping making the seminar a very worthwhile event.
For the strengthening team this is an annual event however I appreciated again just how important it is for the coaches to have an opportunity to speak directly to all the athletes.
Having the coaches clearly and enthusiastically explain the direction they are aiming for allows the athletes to reaffirm their positions and consider what needs to be done in terms of the strengthening plan.
I took part in both seminars in my capacity as Vice Chairperson of the Strengthening Committee and was able to witness the general mood of each team. I hope this years team also manages to bring out the individual talents of each athlete.
