柔道衣をポーランドに運んでくださった
阿久津岳生さんが、先日のJUDOs主催の講演会に
駆けつけてくださいました。
私はそのとき初対面だったのですが、
こういう人が新しい時代を創るのだと非常に感銘を受けました。
阿久津さんは福岡で工務店等を経営されてこられましたが、
現在は『「宇宙×住宅」で日本や世界の住宅を変えること』を目標に、
SOOM（スーム）という組織を設立。
JAXA宇宙科学研究所の
総合研究大学院大学の物理科学研究科で研究員として
宇宙科学を学んでおられます。
昨年、その研究の一つが、「コペルニクスマスターズ」という大会の日本大会で優勝されたそうです。
（欧州委員会と欧州宇宙機関が主催する衛星データを活用したビジネスコンテストだそうです）
おめでとうございます！
この話ひとつとってもエネルギッシュに活動されていることがわかりますが、
嬉しいのは、阿久津さんが東海大相模高の１学年先輩で生まれ年が同じ1978年の同世代ということ。
ますます親近感が湧きましたし、
失敗を恐れずどんどん挑戦していく非常に前向きな方で
キャラクターも最高。魅力的すぎます。
また、不動産と宇宙をリンクさせ、
新たな住宅の価値観を生み出すという壮大な発想を持たれてはいますが、
その源にあるのは、家族も含めた周囲の人々への感謝という気持ちだということを
お話しされていたのも印象的でした。
やはりどんなに時代が動いていこうとも、テクノロジーが発達しようとも
人と人との関係や感謝の気持ちが大切であり、
そうしたものが人の心を動かすのだと感じました。
AKUTSU Takeo x Space!
AKUTSU Takeo who transported judogi to Poland for us also came along to our JUDOs lecture held the other day.
I was really impressed by him at this, our first meeting. He is the kind of person who will forge a new future.
He has been involved in building and construction in Fukuoka but more recently he has founded an organization called SOOM with the aim of changing housing both in Japan and abroad. ‘Space x Housing’
He is a research student at JAXA’S Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS) Graduate University for Advanced Studies, School of Physics.
I heard how last year, his research won the Copernicus Masters Region Prize for Japan. Congratulations!
You can tell what an energetic person he is from these stories however what made me feel even closer to him is that he was just one year above me at Tokai University affiliated Sagami High School and was born in the same year as me, 1978!
He has a fantastic positive outlook and is not afraid to make mistakes, a really charismatic man.
I was further impressed when talking to him as it seems a very grand idea to make a link between real estate and space, creating a new value to property but the idea actually originated from his feelings of gratitude towards his family and the people around him.
It shows that what really moves people, what’s really important, is interpersonal relationships and feelings of gratitude, no matter how times move on and technology advances.
