２月５〜６日にグランドスラム・パリが開催されました。
今大会、日本からはシニアのトップ選手が多数参加しました。
鈴木ジャパン、増地ジャパンにとって
パリ五輪へ向けての本格的なリスタートと言える大会となったと思います。
日本チームの皆さん、お疲れ様でした！！
今大会は施行されたばかりの新ルールの適用について
注意深く観戦しました。
ルール分析は我々の戦いの鍵になりますし、
海外選手の精査分析も必要です。
新ルールは始まったばかりですから、
引き続き注視していきたいと思います。
また、新たに台頭してきた選手や、
トレンドとなりそうな技なども見ていく必要があります。
海外での大会参加が限られる今、
出場した選手の皆さんは、
今回の貴重な経験を次なるステージに生かしてほしいと思います。
そして北京オリンピック！！
初日から素晴らしいパフォーマンスが続いています。
日本から毎日全力で応援しています。

Paris Grand Slam and the Beijing Olympics!
The Paris Grand Slam was held on February 5th and 6th.
Many of Japan’s top senior athletes took part.
The competition marked the real start in the run up to the Paris Olympics for the Japan Team lead by Suzuki and Masuchi.
A big well done to the whole team!!
I watched the competition extremely carefully as the new rules have only just come into force.
Analyzing the rules is going to be key to our success, as is scrutinizing the performance of athletes from other countries.
The rules have only recently changed so I will continue to pay close attention.
We also need to keep an eye on newly emerging athletes and trends in techniques.
With limited competitions abroad, I hope our athletes who took part will take this valuable experience and carry it on into the next stage.
And of course, the Beijing Olympics!!
