本日から日本武道館で世界柔道選手権が始まりました。
今日は男子は60kg級が行われ
永山竜樹が３位、
髙藤直寿が５位となりました。
髙藤直寿が５位となりました。
両者ともに優勝できる力を持ち、決勝で対戦するにふさわしい選手でありましたが
その力を発揮させてあげられなかったことに監督として責任を感じています。
今回の経験を生かし両者ともに更なる強さを増していけるようコーチ、スタッフ一丸となり強化していきたいと思います。
両選手に対しまして沢山の応援を頂き有り難うございました。
明日の66kg級には丸山城志郎、阿部一二三が出場します。

Day 1 of the Tokyo Judo World Championships
The Tokyo Judo World Championships got underway today at Nippon Budokan
In the Men's -60kg event
Ryuju Nagayama took third place,
Naohisa Takato taking 5th.
Both athletes are capable of competing in the final and winning,
I feel some responsibility as their coach for them not being able to give their best performance.
It's now our job as staff and coaches to come together and help improve their
performance based on their experiences today.
I'd like to thank everyone for their support of both team members.
Joshiro Maruyama and Hifumi Abe will be competing in the -66kg event tomorrow.
