山下泰裕先生が理事長を務められてきた
ＮＰＯ法人柔道教育ソリダリティーが活動を終了し、
先日、その活動を振り返る「感謝の会」が行われ、私も出席してきました。
ＮＰＯ法人柔道教育ソリダリティーは13年間に渡り、
リサイクル柔道衣、柔道畳の寄贈に始まり、
海外からの留学生の受け入れや、
中国等での柔道場での指導者育成支援等、
柔道を通じたたくさんの活動を展開されてこられました。
私も、山下先生とともにイスラエル・パレスチナでの国際交流、
国際貢献活動等をともにさせていただきました。
このような柔道を通した国際活動を
世界各地で地道に、粘り強く進められてきた
事務局と関係者の皆さんに改めて敬意を表したいと思います。
法人としての活動は終えられましたが、その志は世界各地で生き続けます。
私も微力ながらその一翼と担っていけるよう、
このたび設立したＮＰＯ法人JUDOsでも活動していきたいと考えています。

Solidarity of Judo Education
The Solidarity of Judo Education NPO which was chaired by Mr Yasuhiro Yamashita has ended its activities.
The other day I attended a dinner to honour its activities.
Over 13 years of operations the Solidarity of Judo Education NPO developed a great number of activities through judo;
starting with the recycling of judogi and donation of judo mats they went on to invite exchange students from abroad and offer instructor training sessions in China and other countries.
I was also involved with international exchange and cooperation programs to Israel and Palestine alongside Yamashita sensei.
I’d like to express my respect to everyone involved for their dedication and consistent efforts to international activities through judo.
Though the organisation has ended its activities its ambitions continue on around the world.
With the establishment of NPO JUDOs I’d like to humbly take a part in continuing these activities and ask for your continued support.
