本が好きな私はいつもカバンの中に1、2冊は必ず入っていて、
少しでも時間ができると、取り出して読んでいます。
一番多いのは、やはり移動の時間。
現在の私の生活では、飛行機や新幹線、電車の車内は最高の読書タイムです。
また、時には長風呂をするときも、
風呂に本を持ち込んだりすることもあります。
一人の時間は、読書にふけることのできる貴重な時間です。
どんな本を読んでいるのですか、と聞かれることも多いのですが、
本棚を見てみても、やはり歴史に関する本が一番かもしれません。
歴史そのものの解説本から、実在の人物がモデルになった小説も多く、
歴史が好きなのでどうしても手が伸びてしまいます。
また最近は、組織運営についてや知見を広げたいという思いから、
ビジネス書も増えてきました。
2月は海外遠征が続きますから、
本を読む時間をたっぷり取ることができそうです。
どんな本を旅のお供にするか、選ぶのもまた楽しい作業です。
While Traveling and During Long Baths
Since I really like books,
I have one or two in my bag at all times and take one out whenever I have even a little bit of free time.
I do this mostly when traveling.
In my current lifestyle, my time spent on planes and trains is the best time for reading.
Also, when I take long baths, I often bring a book in with me as well.
For me, time alone is precious time that can be spent reading.
People often ask me what kind of books I like to read. If you take one look at my bookshelf,
you'll see that most of the books there are history-related.
From interpretations on history itself to novels based on characters from history,
I love history so much that I can't stop reading about it.
Recently, I've also been reading business books to broaden my knowledge about organization management.
Since I'll be traveling overseas in February,
I'll have a lot of time to read books.
Choosing which books to bring with me on a trip is always fun.
