本日は嬉しいお知らせです。
このほど、 EXILE THE SECONDさんと
全日本柔道連盟のコラボにより、
全日本柔道連盟公式応援ソングが完成しました。
昨日、記者会見を行い、
EXILE THE SECONDの黒木啓司さんとSHOKICHIさん、
そして全日本柔道女子監督の増地克之先生とともに発表させていただきました。
曲名は『日昇る光に 〜Pray for Now〜』。
作詞・曲はSHOKICHIさんです。

試合前の精神集中状態から、
段々気持ちを盛り上げて試合に挑む
選手たちの心の動きと、会場の期待感が
見事に表現されている素晴らしい楽曲です。
楽曲製作にあたり私から黒木さん、SHOKICHIさんにお伝えしたのは、
「精力善用」「自他共栄」という言葉です。
いずれも柔道創始者の嘉納治五郎師範がのこした、
柔道に携わる者にとって基本中の大切な言葉です。
黒木さん、SHOKICHIさんはこの言葉の意味するところを
しっかりくみ取ってくださったと感じています。
柔道は個人競技ではありますが、
選手それぞれが己を高め、力を発揮することで
互いを支えあうチーム競技でもあります。
楽曲の中にはこの「精力善用」「自他共栄」の精神が
しっかりと流れていると感じられるのです。
本当に素晴らしい作品でいわば「スーパー一本」級です！
楽曲のお披露目は 5月23日（水）、
幕張メッセで行われるEXILE THE SECONDさんのツアーファイナル、
「EXILE THE SECOND LIVE TOUR 2017-2018 "ROUTE 6・6" THE FINAL」となります。
リオ・オリンピックメダリストの
高藤直寿、海老沼匡、大野将平、羽賀龍之介、
田知本遥、中村美里の6名が共演させていただくことにもなっています。
この面々には歌って踊って弾けろ、と伝えていますから
メダリストらしい（？）キレキレの動きを見せてくれるでしょう！
その後、応援ソングは柔道の試合会場やイベント等でもお聞きいただけます。
どうかお楽しみにしていてください！

Exile the Second x Japan Judo Support Song!
I have exciting news to report today.
The All Japan Judo Federation collaborated with
Exile The Second and recently finished creating a song supporting the All Japan Judo Federation.
Yesterday, a press conference was held and
I announced it along with Exile The Second’s Keiji Kuroki and Shokichi,
as well as the All Japan Judo Federation Women’s Director, Katsuyuki Masuchi.
The song is called “Hi Noboru Hikari ni 〜Pray for Now〜”
Shokichi wrote the song and lyrics.

Next to me is Director Masuchi.
It's an amazing musical piece that expresses the exciting anticipation
of the spectators and the feelings athletes experience
from the excitement before the match to the thrill of battling it out with our other judoka.
Before they made the song,
I taught Shokichi and Keiji about the phrases "Seiryoku-Zenyo" and "Jita-Kyoei."
They are the words that the founder of judo, Jiguro Shihan,
left behind and are very important to all those that are affiliated with judo.
I feel that Keiji and Shokichi embedded the meaning of these words properly into their song.
Judo may be an individual sport,
but it is also a team sport in the way that athletes support each other
by improving themselves side-by-side.
I can feel the soul of "Seiryoku-Zenyo" and "Jita-Kyoei" flowing throughout the song.
This is truly a super-ippon-class masterpiece!
The song will make its debut on Wednesday,
May 23rd at Exile the Second’s final concert in their tour
“Exile The Second Live Tour 2017-2018 "Route 6・6" The Final” at Makuhari Messe.
6 Olympic medalists, Naohisa Takato, Masashi Ebinuma,
Shohei Ono, Ryunosuke Haga, Haruka Tachimoto,
and Misato Nakamura are going to share the stage at that time.
They have all been told to sing, dance, and let loose,
so hopefully we’ll get to see some Olympic medalist-like movements on stage!
After that, we’ll be able to hear this judo support song at matches and other events.
