昨日は津和野町の隣町である吉賀町（「よしかちょう」と読みます）に行き、今朝戻りました。４０数キロのドライブで、超安全運転の私の場合、約４５分かかります。国道ですが、カーブばかりの山あり谷ありトンネルありの山道で、一人での運転には音楽というお供が不可欠です。４５分というと、アルバム一枚にちょうど良いのがうれしいです。
Yesterday, I went to the neighboring town, Yoshika-cho and came back in the morning. It's a 40 some kilometers drive that takes me about 45 minutes since I'm an extremely safe driver. Music as a companion is essential when driving alone on this long and winding road full of hills and valleys and tunnels, and 45 minutes is just right for playing an album.
今朝のお供には、ザ・クラッシュの「ロンドンコーリング」を選びました。捨て曲のない名アルバム！と改めて感心♪
I chose "London Calling" by the Clash as my companion this morning. Great album with ON unnecessary tunes!
