This morning 2 foreigners asked me where lockers were. I answered “Go out that door and turn left.”
今朝、ふたりの外国人さんがロッカーはどこかと尋ねてきました。わたしは「そのドアから出て左に行ってください」と答えました。
I had to say “Go out that door, turn left and up stairs. I’m not sure the locker’s size though.” Their trolley bags were very big. Actually I couldn’t say all of them immediately :-(
「ドアを出て左に曲がって、階段を上がってください。ロッカーの大きさはわかりませんが」と言うべきでした。おふたりのキャリーバッグは、とても大きかったのです。とっさに全部は言えなかった( ; ; )
Should I have chased after them and said perfectly? I realized that I need not only English conversation skill but also courage and to be active.

追いかけてきちんと言うべきだったかな？わたしには、英会話のスキルだけでなく、勇気と行動力が必要だと実感しました。
