常識的に考えればわかったのかもしれないけど、その時その注射がホルモンを促進するもの、私のホルモン陽性の乳がんとの関連性は説明された記憶はない
また、のちのちわかる治療に付随する費用は、回数ごとに保存される為、卵子1個であっても10個であっても、同じ金額の保存料・更新料がかかるとわかった
抗がん剤まで時間を空けないことを考えると、チャンスは数回しかない

On the first round, I only managed to save one ovum
I had never done this process before so I didn’t know what the standard was
One ovum per operation seemed like a low number. The doctor discussed increasing the amount of hormone injection that promotes ovum growth
Maybe it was common sense, but I don't remember being explained at the time, that the injection was hormone-enhancing and could possibly affect my yet to be treated hormone-positive breast cancer
I also later learned the logistics that come with it - that the same amount of storage /renewal fee would be charged regardless of whether the number of saved ovum is 1 or 10, since the eggs are frozen for each operation
Considering there was little time before I started chemo, I only had a few chances
How many ovums I could save per operation was…luck
I decided to increase the injection
