Freezing my eggs would be handled by the Reproductive Department in St. Marianna University Hospital.

St. Marianna Hospital was advanced in the field of fertility treatment, and there were people from other countries like Korea who came here.

I met with one of the gynaecologists, and received an explanation of the process of egg freezing, the time required for treatment, medication, etc.

A relatively new technology option was also introduced to me -  to remove, cut and store the uterus instead of just the eggs. The uterus would be implanted in me again when the time comes.

The thought that maybe possibly, the hospital wants more cases of introducing their new technology hence recommending it to me, and the thought of taking out a healthy part of my body, cutting it up and freezing it as if it were cabbage felt too inhumane for me to go through.

It was heavy information to digest, let along decide. I couldn't get my thoughts together in one session and had to come back.
