Late afternoon. Dogenzaka is blocked off. Wondering what's going on, I look it up: "Shibuya Music Festival." This marks its 20th anniversary, a day to celebrate. But I'm not interested, so I head to the packed Shibuya Station on the Ginza Line. One stop to Omotesando. At my usual cafe,
I tap away at the keyboard. By evening, I wrap things up and head back to Shibuya. The basketball game at Aoyama Gakuin Hall had ended, and people spilled out onto the sidewalks. Once I reached the top of Dogenzaka in Shibuya, the crowds thinned out, and the quiet returned. Tomorrow marks the second half of October. Let's enjoy it.
