直木賞おめでとう㊗
デビューからずっと読み続けてきた垣根涼介氏の小説。サントリーミステリー大賞&読者賞の「午前三時のルースター」には度肝を抜かれた。作品ごと力強さを増し今回の受賞に至った。本当におめでたい。大好きな小説家が評価されるのは本当に嬉しい。他人事とは思えない。
今回、W受賞となった永井紗耶子さんも注目の作家で「木挽町のあだ討ち」は愛読の時代小説。歴史と時代、史実がベースになった２作が選ばれたのは感無量。

I have been reading Ryosuke Kakine's novels since his debut. I was taken aback by "Rooster at 3 a.m.," which won the Suntory Mystery Grand Prize & Readers' Choice Award. Each work has grown in strength and led to this award. I am truly happy for him. I am very happy to see my favorite novelist being recognized. I can't think of it as someone else's problem.
Ms. Sayako Nagai, who won the second prize this time, is also an author of note, and her "Kobikicho no yakaritachi" is a historical novel that I love to read. I am deeply moved that two novels based on history, period, and historical facts were selected for the award.
