恥骨上膀胱瘻造設術では、トロッカーとカニューレは腹壁筋のaponeurosis、表層筋膜、横筋膜、腹膜外脂肪の層を貫通する。 しかし、腹膜には入らないので、腹膜炎や血性腹膜炎のリスクは軽減される。
膀胱は腹膜外にある。 恥骨上膀胱瘻を造設する場合、トロッカーとカニューレは腹壁層を貫通するが、腹膜には入らない。
The bladder is extraperitoneal. In placement of a suprapubic cystostomy, the trocar and cannula will pierce the layers of the abdominal wall but will not enter the peritoneum.
The perineal membrane (inferior fascia of the urogenital diaphragm) spans the deep perineal pouch from the periosteum of the ischiopubic rami to the arcuate ligament of the pubis. It is penetrated by the urethra inferior to the bladder but would not be encountered in suprapubic cystostomy.
