フェルトケーキ！Felt cake!!!

今日は、すごく冬らしい季節で、ものすご～～～～く！さぶかったです・・・・。天気が良くても、ミカが外を走り回る事できないので、カイも最近はストレスがたまり気味で・・・・でも、偶然にも、カイの通ってる学校に、しかも同じクラスに！日本人のお友達がいるらしくて、私も偶然、学年が変わった時に、日本語が聞こえるな？？？と思ってはなしかけたら、やっぱり日本人！！すごく嬉しかったです！！！

それから、色々、子供たちも含めて遊んだり、彼女には本当に最近特にお世話になって、カイの学校の送り迎えも全てしてくれて、なおかつ迎えに行ってくれるだけでなく、私の事を気遣って、彼女のお家で、彼女のKidsちゃんたちと2－3時間遊ばせてもらって、カイも最近は、特にミカの骨折で彼も傷ついたらしくて、少しダウン気味だったのですが、彼女の考慮のおかげで、カイもまたまた元気を取り戻してきてくれて！彼女には大感謝です！やっぱり大切なお友達は私の宝物です。

そして、今日もカイは学校がないのに彼女の家にお世話になってしまって。。。。でも、家事がはかどって助かってしまいました！！＋ミカに手が最近すごくかかるので、本当に大助かりです。感謝！感謝！

そして、今日は、いつもお世話になってしまってるので、彼女にお豆腐シフォンを焼いてみました！このシフォン本当にお豆腐が入ってないのと同じくらいふわふわで美味しいです！もう、私の定番のお菓子になってます！！！（ダイエットにはもってこい！ノンオイルです！！！笑）

そして、そして！ちょっと前なのですが、前からがんばっていた、フェルトのホールケーキ！完成しました！！！このケーキは、義理姉のお誕生日が先月の終わりだったので、それに間に合わせるようにがんばってみたのですが、まだまだ腕はぜんぜんです・・・・でも、一から作った物は、どんなにヘタでも、出来上がるとやっぱり達成感というか嬉しいです！！！！義理姉もすごく喜んでくれて、私も何よりです！！でも、今度は、もっと丁寧に一つ一つがんばろうと思ってます！！！！

そして、そんな義理姉、兄夫婦から旅行のお土産に素敵なプレゼントを頂いてしまいました！ビリーにはTシャツと、靴を、子供たちにはオモチャを！そして、私には、なんとUGGのブーツと、Juicy coutureのトラックスーツを！！びっくりです！でも、大事に使わせていただいてます！！！

日本も寒さがしみる頃ですよね！カナダも特に今年は一段と寒い感じがしてます！！（私だけ？？）皆さんも年末年始が近づいてきてます！風邪などにくれぐれも気をつけてくださいね！！

It's been very cold latley. Mika is not 100% yet of course, so even it was warm outside, she couldn't play..... poor thing....especially our area there are lots of construction is going on, so around here, kids can't play much..... there is not good park too....

and lately, Kai goes to school with one of his friends from school. and she is also japanese!! First I didn't know she was japanese until she was talking with her mom in japanese at school. and Mmm??? I thought I heard some japanese?? so I just talked her in japanese and yes! she is Japanese!! and since then we often have play date for kids and we also have couple of teas and She loves baking just like me! so we bake together and we have lots of commons!!!! and since Mika broke her leg, I've been having hard time to take Mika out with me, so she takes Kai to school and drop him off at home!!!! She is a big helper for me!!! if she was not doing this for me, Kai probably had to miss school. I am very appreciated for that and not only for that, after she picks up kai from school, she keeps him at her house and let all kids play together for a few hours and gives me lots of time to do lots of things. now Mika is like back to baby, she is sooo frustrated for so many things and I know she's been stressed out, because she can't walk. so I have to be around her all the time, and I can't give enough attention to Kai... and also Kai's been very upset about Mika broke her leg, he feels like it is his fault....... but he is with his friends, he's so happy and also he starts feeling better lately too, so I am so thankful to my friend. she is super nice!

so I made my favorite cake TOFU Angel foodcake!!! for her. and she really love Tofu and her kids does too! so she was so happy about it!!!!! but Once again I feel so luckey and happy to have really nice, kind and loving friends. They are very very important in my life! I just hope Mika feels much more beter and love to see her running around again!!!!!!!

and also I love doing crafts and latley I am so into making felt cakes!!!! and I was working on my felt whole cake for long time.....( I know I need lots of lots of time!!!! hahaha!) but finally I did it!!!!!

I know I need more and more practicing!! but from the beginning to the end I was just happy I made it!!!!!!

Next time, I should be more careful the steches and little parts!!! but I hope you like it Christine!!!!!!

and and and!!!! Thank you guys so much for the beautiful boots, outfits, shoes, toy for us!!!!!! They are just so nice!!!! Billy loves his shoes so much too!!!!! and so do I!!!!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!!!

I haven't given Kai the toy yet, I will give him on Christmas day as Christmas present from you guys! I know he will be super happy!!!!!!!!

well, this year will be end almost..... time goes by so fast... too fast!!!!!! but almost Christmas is coming!!!!! My favorite day a year!!!!!!!! but I haven't done any Christmas shopping... oh.. oh....!!!

but Hope everyone is doing great and take care, I know the flu or cold is going around right now!!! Ohhhh...... I just doint' like the flu season......... one and another......and always I am the last one to get!!! GREAT!

不運にも・・・・ injury.....

大変なことが起こり少々アップに遅れてしまいました・・・・お世話をしていた、甥っ子、姪っ子たちも、無事カルガリーの方に、パパ、ママと共に帰り、私も、肩の荷がホッとおりた感じがしてたのもつかの間・・・・・なんと・・・ミカが足を骨折してしまいました・・・・。

事は本当に一瞬に起こり、助けてる暇もなく・・・あっという間に・・・。

事が起こったのは先週の土曜日。。。私・・実は布団はないのですが、ベッドを干すのが習慣というか、一ヶ月に一度は必ず、雨でもお天気でも、さすがに外にドンと置くわけには行かないので、家で一番大きな窓があるところに、マットレスを立てかけて、気休めかもしれないけど、ベッドを干して、殺菌してます！！（笑）

そして、先週の土曜日も同じように私たちの部屋、カイの部屋のベッドをそれぞれ、干して、最後のミカの部屋のベッドを壁に立てかけてる時に・・・・・・突然・・・『ウワ～～～ン！！』と激しい泣き声が私たちのベッドルームから・・・あわてて言ったときに見た光景は、カイがどうやら一度倒れたらしきベッドのマットレスをがんばって持ち上げて、その下には、嫌な予感通り、ミカが下敷きになってました・・・・（泣）

私もあわてて、ベッドを起こして、ミカを抱き上げたとたんに、いっそう激しい泣き声で、泣き始め・・・それから泣き止んで落ち着くまでかれこれ1時間・・・ようやく、ミカも冷静を保ち始め・・・で、色々体を触って、怪我がないか見てると、ちょうど右足のひざのお皿がある下を軽く持ち上げただけで、またもや大泣き・・・・・その瞬間、また嫌な予感が頭をよぎりました・・・・とりあえずビリーが帰ってくるのを待ち、事情を話して、救急で連れて行くことに・・・レントゲンの結果・・・・折れてました・・・・といっても完璧、ボキッ！っと行ったわけではないのですが、後、１ｃｍくらいで完璧に折れてるくらいまでヒビが大きく入っていて、医者からも、これは大きなヒビですね・・・と心配され、すぐにギブスの手配・・・・その時は、毎回私はカナダの医療事情をグチグチ言ってるのですが、大体平均、救急で今まで病院にいって待たされた時間・・・・・3時間は最低で。。。ひどい時は5－6時間。救急の意味がなく本当に頭にきてたのですが、今回救急で行ったら、びっくりするくらい早く呼ばれて、病院についてから、出るまでわずか1時間30分！！かなりの新記録で、びっくりでした。

でも、これだけヒビが入ってると、相当痛いですよ！と医者からも言われ・・・・通りで今まで効いた事のない泣き叫び方をしたのだな・・・と本当に、かわいそうでした・・・・。私の不注意でもあるのですが、まさか、ミカがベッドによじ登ろうとするとは・・・・。でも、これはやっぱり親の監視不足ですね・・・。すごく反省です。もちろん、足の骨折は、かなりショックでしたが、でも、近くにベッドや、他の家具もあったので、倒れた時にそこに頭とか打たなくて本当に良かったと、その事はすごくホッとしてます。

でも、これからは、もっとよく監視をしてないと・・・・本当に子供は今までぜんぜん興味なかったものを突然興味を持ち始めたり。。。。いつまでたっても目が放せないです。でも、私は、実際倒れた瞬間を目にしてなかったのですが、カイは全てを見てたので、すごくショックで、私が駆け込んで見に行った時は、カイは泣きながら、必死にミカを助けてました。その後も、ミカを心配して大泣き。やっぱり兄妹ですね。。。。

ミカも同じで、例えば、カイが何か悪い事をして、私や、ビリーに怒られて、ふてくされて泣いていると、ミカは私たちに、『カイを怒らないで！と泣き始めます！』　親の私が言うのも何なのですが、カイもミカもすごくセンシティブで、相手をすごく気にかける子達です。でも、そういう風に相手を思いやり、自分に素直な人に育ってほしいです。

話が長くなってしまったのですが・・・・ミカの足、完治一ヶ月～6週間・・・・今年のクリスマス写真はギブス付きになってしまいそうです・・・・。ミカは、やっぱり動けないストレスがたまってるのか、また『いや～いや～いや～～！！！！』の時期にもどってしまい。。。でも、やっぱり動き回りたい時期に動けないのは、相当ストレスがたまるんですよね・・きっと。早く完治してほしいものです。

皆さんも、年末年始も目の前！大きな怪我、風邪など気をつけてくださいね。

Well...... as you all know about Mika...... She broke her leg.....Broken Tibia..... I was very very upset to find out.

it was totally my fault, I should more pay attention to my kids then.....

I was just cleaning the roooms, and try to clean the bed mattress, so I put it on the wall, and I was in other room then, and suddenly.... Mika started screaming and crying...... oh.... my heart was pounding so bad, and run to the room..... and I saw the picture I didn't want to see..... Kai was crying and try to lift the mattress which fell on Mika, but the mattress was sooo heavy, so Kai couldn't push it up, and I guess it fell on Mika already. so I tried to move the bed from kids and carried Mika right away, but as soon as I held her, she started screaming more.... I can tell she was in sooooooooo much pain then.... and I tried to carm her down and it took about a hour to finally carm her down. and then, I checked her body and felt her arms, head, tummy, neck and as soon as I touched her right leg, she started screaming again. so I had very very bad feeling. but I was waiting Billy to come home and I told the whole story and we took her to emergency. ...... I know usually the emergency....... took forever to just see a doctor.... even a nurse.... but the day we could see the doctor right away... it was amazing..... so anyway, Mika had X-ray, and we found out she has broken tibia.....

and it was soooo close to almost crack through...... Even Dr said, this is big one. means not good.

but I jsut can't believe the thing happened soooo fast and they didn't even care about the bed mattress..... but you never know when and what the kids will be into and attract. It was my mistake, and I should pay more attention to them.

but Mika has cast now, and she still has pain, but less! she feels much better!!! of course she can't walk or even go to bathroom, so we are carrying her to everywhere, but everytime, we lift her up, she says..... "Be Gentle, Gentle....!!!!" She is kinda traumatized.... it was big shock for her and she probably remember the moment the bed fell on her and she clearly remember the pain at the moment...... I really felt bad about it.... and also it was big shock for Kai. I was not in the room the thing happened, but Kai was watching whole the time, and he was very upset that he couldn't catch the mattress and help her..... he was crying for while....

I know it sounds very strange that I am saying this, but both of my kids are soooo sensitive. BOTH. so one is crying for some reason, another one starts crying or getting so nervous for each other. and very upset.

I know they fight a lot usually...... (T_T) but they love each other so much and hate to see one is crying.

I am so happy that they have kindness for each other and they care about others. I want them to keep growing up the way they are.

...... so Mika is injured... Dr said, probably about 1 month or 6 weeks to get better..... Mika is already frustrated that she can't move...... so she is fussing and very upset. hope she feels much better soon!!!

but everyone, be careful the MATTRESSES!!!!! THEY are very very tough!

クッキー作り第二弾！Making cookies Part 2!!!

さてさて、ベビーシッター３日目！！今日は、エミリーちゃんのお兄ちゃんたちがお家に泊まる予定で、ビリーママの家にエミリーちゃんをドロップオフして、お兄ちゃんたちをピックアップしてきました！！

そして、そして、この前、エミリーちゃんと作ったジャンボクッキー・・・・・みんな子供たちが食べてしまい・・・もうなくなってしまったようです・・・・かれこれ、あのサイズで１０個以上あったのに・・・・！なので、今日は、クッキー作り第二段！お兄ちゃんたち、ルーク君とアンソニー君、カイと３人で作りました！ミカは、ビリーと一緒に、夕食の材料をカイに出かけ、その間に、Boysで！！！

でも、やっぱりGirlsに比べて、Boysはすごくワイルドで・・・・ミックスマシーンに小麦粉を入れてすぐスイッチを入れてしまったので・・・キッチン中、真っ白に・・・・掃除機大活躍でした！！！笑　でもすごく楽しんでくれたみたいで良かったです！

今は、子供たちみんなベースメントでオモチャ大量に出して、遊んでました・・・・下にいって確認するのが怖いので・・・・（どれだけ散らかってるのか・・・）まだチェックしてないのですが・・・でも、部屋の一つだけ散らかってると片付けも楽なので、もう、子供たちは、外で遊ぶか、ベースメント！！！笑

今は、みんな、疲れて、すやすや眠ってます！！！幸せの一時！！明日の予定はまだ立ててないのですが、エネルギーをできるだけ使わせるプランを！！！笑

またその様子をアップします！！！

あっ！ちなみに、昨日ビリーのホッケーチーム勝ったようです！！今日はビリーの機嫌が良かった～～！！笑

Well, We had so much fun with Emily for two days!!!! I mean really FUN!!!

Cooking, dressing up, doing make up and talking, doing craft!!! She is cutie!!!!

and from today, it is boys turn!!!! so we went Billy's Moms house and dropped off Emily and picked up Luke and Anthony!!! They were just too excited to come over!! and so did my kids!!! When we got home, Billy took Mika to get some stuff for dinner, and I and boys were making chocolate chip cookies!!! I know that was secound time I helped making them!!! I did with Emily too!!! Oh boy! For sure they love cookies!!!!!!

I usually use the Kitchen Aid machine to make the cookie dough and I give them the ingredients and they dumped them in, but after they put the flour and they switched on the machine high speed...... so you know what happened.....!!!!!!!!!!!!! they were all covered by flour!!!!!! Oh no!!!! but they seemed to be so much fun!!! so made me laugh!!!!! and They made huge cookies too!!! I mean very huge!!!! hahaha!!

and as soon as Mika got home with Billy, they started eating one right away!!!!!!!

For sure, they need to have a good bath tonight to rinse off the flour!!! hahahaha!!!!

but they had so much fun together again!!!

we are not sure what we are doing tomorrow!!!! but something they can spend lots of energy!!!!!!!! hahaha!!!!

Luke and Anthony are sleeping at Kai's room with Kai!!! they were chatting a lot!!!!!! Mika was peaking his room all the time before she went to bed!!! they are so cute!!!!

hopefully we will have sunny tomorrow, so we can take them to park!!!!

I should go to bed soon too~~!!!
