電気が復旧して、ネットに繋がるようになり
メールチエックをすると、友人から地震を心配する
メールが沢山届いていました。電池切れだった携帯を充電すると、
携帯メールにも友人から多くのメールが。
以下は、家族ぐるみで親しくしているバンクーバーの一家からです。
17年前、カナダに留学した時、最初の3ヶ月はホームステイをしたのですが、
その時のホストファミリーで、それ以来のお付き合い。息子を連れて数回
行っています。
Dear Miho, can you please email us that you are all safe.
We are soooo worried about you all! We were on the plane
flying home and just heard the terrible news when we
touched down in L.A. Bob is soooo worried too, and Dave
and Meg too. Meg just phoned us here and asked had we
heard from Miho. Our thoughts are with you and all Japanese
people tonight in such a huge, huge tragedy. Our minds cannot
believe this could ever happen. Please write us soooooon,
lots and lots of love, Bev, Bob, Meg, Dave.
元気だとメールを送ると即座に返信が来ました。
Oh Miho, We have been watching my computer screen
carefully for 3 days praying for news from you that you are all ok.
We are watching BBC constantly and following the details with horror.
We are soooooooooooooo happy to have news from you that you are
all ok and hope it will be the same for your extended family and friends.
Thank you for taking the time to write too. We were just talking about
you 5 minutes before, praying for good news. Meg and Dave will be
thrrilled. Bob yelled, " here is Miho now, here is Miho" We love you
and take goode care, Bev, Bob, Meg and Dave.
ツイッターにも安否を心配するメッセージが沢山書き込まれていました。
地震の当日の夜、フォローワーさんの一人は携帯メールに「大丈夫ですか？」
というメッセージを下さいました。ブログの読者の方々からもメッセージを
いただきました。ありがたいことです。人と人のつながりから力をいただきました。
