With the introduction of new starters of Fennekin, Froakie, and Chespin, as well as the introduction of 66 more other Pokemon available from launch, it was a huge release - and met with huge expectation.
With the new PSS system making it easier to connect with players all over the World, and a new feature of Mega Evolution, these games broke boundaries like no other Pokemon games had previously.
The journey around Kalos in the new 3D technology was a beautiful overhaul and made generations - old and new, feel part of a extremely special story that was about to unfold.
