サスカチュワン州を歩き終え、ついにカナダで４つ目の州マニトバに入った。
昼食に立ち寄った町レストンの図書館でワイファイが使えたので更新。
これがサスカチュワン州の地図。
北の方は緑が多く、自然も豊からしいが、南の方はほとんどが農場で平坦だ。
「サスカチュワン(Saskatchewan)と書くのは難しいけど、描くのは簡単。四角を描けばいいんだから」
誰かがそう言ってたな。
この辺りだとUSAとの国境まで70km弱の距離だ
ルートになってる。
意図した訳じゃないんだけど
州に入ったのが6月5日、出るのが7月20日だから45日間で約775km。
そのうち実際に少しでも歩いたのは27日間だから18日間は休養日ということになる。
すなわち３日歩いて２日休みのペースか！
そんなに休んでないと思ったのに、想像以上に休みが多かった・・
27日のうち、40km以上歩いたのが2日、30〜40kmが18日。
こう見ると、ブリティッシュコロンビア州歩いてた頃の倍近くの距離を歩いてることになる
でも6kmしか歩いてない日もあったりするんで、１日あたりの平均歩行距離は約29kmだ。
しかしサスカチュワン州は本当に平坦なプレーリーばかりで退屈かと思ってたけど、いろんな面白い人に出会えて、
差し入れももらって、シャワーも毎日のように浴びられたし、素晴らしく良い印象だ。

(English summary)
Today we are going to leave Saskatchewan to Manitoba Province.
Black line is the route we have walked.
“ It’s difficult to write “Saskatchewan” , but easy to draw it.
Just draw a rectangle.”
Someone told us.
We entered the province on 5/June and we are going out on 20/July.
So 775km for 45 days walk.
But actually we have walked just 27 days of that.
It means 18 days off.
3 days walk and 2 days off in average.
Uuuum
We have enough day off more than I thought.
We thoutght walking in Saskatchewan is too boring to enjoy it.
But we could meet many interested people, and they were always very nice to us.
They gave us foods and drinks, and we could take a shower almost everyday.
So we have very good impression in Saskatchewan.
We hope people of Manitoba are also nice same as here.
