池井戸潤さんの「弱くても勝てます」的な小説です。
上は、箱根駅伝までの話を学生サイドからとテレビ局サイドから書かれています。
そして下では、箱根駅伝の二日間の出来事が書かれています。
特に下巻は一気読みでした。
記録にも残らない寄せ集めチームがものすごい走りをする。
そこまでのドラマと当日のドラマが何度も感動を呼びます。
そしてテレビ局も箱根駅伝に社運をかけて真剣勝負しているのです。
何事も諦めてはいけないと改めて思いました。
勝負は何があるかわからない。
“Our Hakone Ekiden” has two books and it is a novel written by Jun Ikeido, which is about a weak team trying to win.
The first book is about the preparation for Hakone Ekiden.
The second is about the race itself.
They are written from the students’ side as well as the TV station’s side.
Especially I read the second without a break.
The team the members of which are gathered from losers and the record of which is not officially recorded runs much better than expected in the race.
The dramas in preparation and the race moved me many times.
The TV station also seriously focuses on live broadcasts of the race.
I recognized never giving up anything.
Nobody doesn't know what happens in competitions.
