I read “Magma” many years ago and I liked it.

“Break” is a novel that is a successor and I decided to buy “Break” soon after I found it at a bookstore.

It was very good because it is a big-scale story covering economics, politics, the young generation as well as the old generation, and global.

We don't have energy sources in Japan and we have not been able to rely on nuclear power plants since the Tohoku earthquake on March 11, 2011, and the movement of geothermal electric power generation is slow even though it has been one of the key solutions as a volcanic country.

Geothermal power proponents succeed in expanding it by involving many stakeholders globally.

That is a summary of the novel.

I noticed that I would have to think about energy issues in Japan more deeply.
