こちらを一気に見ました。
私が好きなシリーズ。アメリカン、ドレス、不動産、仕事ドラマで、こちらはシーズン2でした。
人間関係の揉め事が相変わらずですが、私な受容度が上がったのか、さほどうんざりせずに見ることができました。
出演者の仕事への情熱は共感できます。
セリング・サンセットとセリング・オレンジカウンティから見れるUSのプロフェッショナル環境はこんな感じなのかなと思います。
・透明性が大事で、職場で意見は隠すことなく言わなくてはいけない。これがお互いへのリスペクトの表明につながる。
・とはいえ、意見が異なることはあるので、意見が異なることと、仕事とはわけて議論。(でも実際には人間だから難しいんだけど)
・わけて議論することで、個人的にあまりつきあいたくない人同士でもお互いに理解はでき、かつ仕事は仕事でドライに評価もできる仕組み
・上記の環境ゆえに、大変ではあるが、外からやってきた人でも活躍のチャンスがある、そして野心的な人が集まる
・でももちろん、育った場所、ルーツ、性格、経験年数、家庭環境なんかの違いで常に意見は食い違う…の繰り返し。
DE&Iが大事というのはまさにこういうことなんですよね。
大事だけど、非常に面倒くさい。
仕事だけにフォーカスできたらとみんなが思いながらもこの状態。
大変ですよね。
英語力が最近上がったので、いろんな表現を学べるのも楽しい。
I watched “Selling OC” on Netflix from end to end this weekend.
This is season 2 of my favorite series, which is a drama including American style, beautiful clothes, real estate, and passionate careers.
It shows trouble among colleagues as usual but I wasn't less annoyed than before because somewhat my acceptance had increased.
I symphasize the passion of the people there for their careers.
My points of view for professional environments in the US according to “Selling Sunset” and “Selling OC” are as follows.
- Transparency is important and they have to say their own opinions without hiding them at the office. That makes a demonstration of mutual respect.
- The opinions are usually not the same and they should discuss the differences of each opinion and relationships for the job separately. It is actually tough because they are humans, though.
- Discussing separately enables the system in which two people who have different opinions and don't want to have a personal relationship can understand each other and work together and the results of the work are evaluated fairly.
- The environments above enable anyone who comes from another region or country to be successful even though it is tough and makes many ambitious people gather.
- But there are different opinions from the different areas where growing up, their different routes, their different personalities, their different experienced years, or their different family situation where growing up…repeatedly.
That is the reason why DE&I is important.
It is absolutely important but annoying.
In the dram all of them want to focus on their job but the reality is that.
I am afraid they are very stressful.
I enjoyed learning various expressions in English in the drama as well.
