先週、時間を作って外部の講演を聞きに行ったんですが、めちゃくちゃよかったんですよ。
私よりずっと年下の女性なんですけど、これまでやってきたことも、これから考えてることも、すごすぎて本当に感動。
もっとこういう方のお話を聞いてかないとだなと思いました。
最近とても仕事が詰め込みになっており、なかなか時間か取れず、社内の学べるコンテンツも十分に見れないし、調べなきゃいけない最新技術も調べきれてない。
それを置いてでも講演を聞きに行ったのは正解だったなと思いました。
全然別の話で、私の会社のCHRO(アメリカ人)と対談する機会がありました。
こちらは遠い役職なんだけど、逆に身近に感じて、それはそれで非常にいい経験でした。
今度彼女が来日したときに会えるかも。
どちらもかなり私をインスパイアして、この週末に、将来に向けた展望が広がりました。
自分の周りだけで考えてちゃダメだよね。
どんどん視野を広げてかないと。
あとは英語を勉強しないと。
I went to join a conference spoken by much younger businesswomen than me last week and it moved me.
Her past achievements and her future perspective impressed me.
I thought I would better have time to listen to such people.
I was recently stuffed with many tasks, it was hard to take time, I couldn't watch the contents to learn internally and I couldn't investigate the latest technology.
I found that I took the right choice to go to the conference in the situation.
On the other hand, I had an opportunity to have a dialogue with our American CHRO in the same week.
Her position is far from me but I felt her close to me.
It was a great experience.
I will probably meet with her when she comes to Japan.
They inspired me a lot and I expanded my future vision this weekend.
I learned that thinking just around me doesn't enable my perspective to be wider.
I need to expand my perspective.
Also, I need to learn English more and more.
