昨年はinternational women’s dayのイベントを開催しましたが、今年は私は日本におらず、ずっと帰りの飛行機でした。
あえて言うと出張前のマネージャーセッションはその一環ですが。
会社としては昨日イベントも開催され、うまくいったようです。
イベントだとだいたいコミットメントを最後に書いたりしますが、今年はそんなわけで書いておらず、自分で勝手にやるとすると、
男女問わずdiversity について正しい知識をつけ、自分の言葉で語れる社会をつくりたい
この1年はまず社内をそう変えていきたい
ですね。
女性フォーカスのDiversity 活動をサブリーダーとして2年やらせていただいてますが、次はリーダーとして推進させてもらうことになりました。
リーダーになることを、私以上に喜んでくれる方々がいるので、「私がリーダーをやりたいです」と手を挙げたわけではないですが、よかったなと思ってます。
最近の活動の進み方は本当に素晴らしく、男性の巻き込みもうまく行き始めてます。
今後はさらに男性にも当事者として参加してもらおうと思ってます。
昨日までNYに行ってましたが、その間に、グローバルの別のDiversity initiative が立ち上がったことも知らされ、そちらの活動にも参加することになります。
あれもこれもと大変ですが、いろんな活動を有機的に紐づけて、うまく効果を出していきたいです。
We had and I joined the event on the international women’s day last year but I was on the flight back to Japan this year.
I dare say that I contributed to the managers session as I mentioned before I left Japan and it was one of the events related to the international women’s day.
Internally there was an event yesterday and it was successful.
If I had joined the event I would have made my commitment but I didn’t.
Therefore I do it by myself.
I would like to make a world where Both men and women make comments about diversity with their own words by getting right knowledge.
I would like to change my company in a year.
I have been sub leader of the internal women’s council for two years and I will be a leader of it.
Many people were pleased with my appointment more than I and I am glad to have taken it although I didn’t raise my had by myself.
Our council’s members are leading some activities successfully and we have just started to involve men.
I plan to involve men as members officially.
In my business trip to NY a new global initiative for diversity was set up and I will join it.
I have too many tasks but I want to make effects by integrating all of them.
