Yesterday I had a meeting with my boss about my performance at work. This meeting is held every year in the week of winter bonus payment.
This time, the evaluation of my performance was bad. My boss was not satisfied with my communication attitude. He said that he couldn't give me the responsibility of doing project management because he didn't trust my communication skill.
I had known by myself that I neglected communicating with others in daily work.
So it is completely my fault to get bad evaluation this time. But I feel really frustrated by the current situation where I can't do project management and the guy younger than me takes the position.
To improve the current sutuation, the only thing I have to do is to improve the communication skill. But once I lost a credit, it takes a long time to get it back. So, as an option I am considering quitting my current job and make a fresh start in a new company.
