Motorbike

Hi there,
I started riding motorcycles in Japan and enjoyed the trip from my apartment in Kamakura to Yokohama. When I returned to Australia, I brought the motorbike with me. It is a Kawasaki ZZR 250.
I have enjoyed riding this motorbike in Australia too. I have ridden it from Melbourne to Sydney and back and around Tasmania.





I think sometimes it would be nice to have a larger motorbike for Australia but actually it is a good size for my weight.

Kookaburra

I went with my wife for a drive in the country. We saw many birds. The kookaburra is quite common in the country area. They have a unique sound so are easy to find by just listening. Kookaburras look tough and sometimes they look like they are happy. I don't know why...

Manga

I found out the way to put the images so they can be viewed by anyone today.
Anyway, I like manga.
I like the following ones:
Naruto and Naruto Shippuden
Hajime no Ippo
Slam Dunk
Arakawa under the Bridge (but I cannot find English subtitles yet)

Also I enjoyed Hayao Miyasaki's series of animation.

Japan anime is so much better than western cartoon and comics.

Grand Terminus Hotel

I had to ride my motorbike back from Sydney to Melbourne last week.
On the way, I stopped in Bairnsdale, Victoria. I could stay overnight at the Grand Terminus Hotel. It was cheap for a room. The room was nothing special but there was a nice evening meal available in the public bar and it looked like a nice building from the outside.

Here is an image of the river in my home town.
It was from last December when there were many yacht races.
Sailing is not so expensive here.
That is summer-time.
The water is cold in Winter.
