「スイング・ホテル」というミュージカル映画
知ってる？ １９４２年、パラマウントで作られた。
当時有名な映画音楽作曲家 アーヴィング・バーリン が
ホリディだけオープンするホテルなんて面白いんじゃないか？と
持ちかけたのがきっかけ
登場人物は歌手のビング・クロスビー演じるジム 友人でダンサーのテッドを
フレッド・アステアが演じる。
映画の中で、ジムは「ホリディ・イン」という名前のホテルを開くことから
タイトルとなった。
この映画では、アウテアのダンスがすばらしいのと
そして、もうひとつ すばらしい歌が誕生する。
鼻歌で作ったというバーリンの名曲「ホワイト・クリスマス」だ。
これを、ビング・クロスビーが
映画の中で、リンダ役のマージョリー・レイノルズと歌う
「ホリディ・イン」のオープンの日 クリスマスにね。
この歌は、大ヒットを記録し 今でも、クリスマス・ソングの定番だ
その映画のシーンから、名曲「ホワイト・クリスマス」を

そう、いつか見た あの日のような クリスマス
木々は白く 雪が光っていて、

championship event.
He remained unbeaten at 6-0 in his fighting career with a win over
Denis Hernandez.
What he's accomplishing without a forearm or fist on his left arm
is simply incredible.
Watch him finish off Hernandez with a nifty heel hook.
Newell, who debuted in June of 2009, began his athletic journey
in his school where he won 153 wrestling matches.

sold for $352,000 at an auction.
Julien's Auctions spokeswoman Caroline Galloway tells
The Associated Press on Sunday that the Monroe photos — taken
in 1946 when she was still Norma Jeane Dougherty — were
the highlight of the Beverly Hills auction known as "Icons & Idols"
The photos come with negatives and the rare right to sell and
distribute them.
