In 2011, I spent 4 months in Gainesville, 3 months in Miami, and 5 months in Japan.
It's strange, because I really enjoy living here, and at the same time, I really miss both Gainesville and Miami.
Is this how old people feel? Constantly nostalgic?
Goals for 2012:
Keep closer contact with my old friends.
Study/practice Japanese more.
Read and write in English more.
Stop buying so many things.
Travel more.
Don't let tiredness ruin my days.
Start new things.
Western people, are you gonna watch a countdown?
I never was big on those, but this awful old-people nostalgia is getting to me...
I was going to write a super-boring entry about how tired I am, but I'm too tired to write about it, and who wants to hear those kinds of lame complaints, anyways?
This week is the pretty famous Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival, so if there are still tickets, I'll probably go sit through something or another.
