少し前の話し。
高１になった娘が英語の授業で、
家族についてスピーチするお題を
出されたそうです。
娘から、私の趣味や好きな事について
いろいろ聴取されました。
以下は、ヒアリングを元に
娘がスピーチした原稿です。
時間にすると3分位。
丸暗記して原稿無しで
スピーチ。
Hello everyone.
Today, I’m going to talk about my mother.
She was born in Ibaraki. Ibaraki is very rural, but it is peaceful and calm.
She loves Ibaraki
because the waterfront areas
and rice fields are beautiful.
Tokyo can be stressful because
it is so crowded,
so when she goes back to Ibaraki,
she feels relaxed.
Her favorite food from Ibaraki is clams.
Her hobby is going to the gym.
She practices boxing and works out regularly.
Recently, my mother started taking baking classes.
The cakes she makes are very delicious.
Also, since she was young,
she has loved going to live music concerts.
Her favorite music genres are Western music, Japanese pop, and funk.
My mother’s special skill is beautiful handwriting. She studied penmanship for six years,
so her handwriting is very neat and beautiful.
Her favorite season is early summer
because the weather is comfortable.
My mother is cheerful and positive,
and l respect her very much.
英語にすると、
何かスゴいことしてそうに感じる？
でも、ごく普通の趣味です
実家から届いたメロン。 アラフィフになったら、好物になりました
今回、娘から受けた質問で
回答に困ったのは
｢ママの特技は？｣
う～ん、学力・運動能力普通だし
私の特技って何かな？って
いろいろ考えたんですけど、
一つだけありました！
それは、字が綺麗に書けること。
｢字が綺麗だね｣～って、
今まで何度も言われました
小学時代の6年間、
習字・ペン字を習いまして、
段まで取りました。
今や、自分が書いた文字を
人に見せる機会は減ったけど、
活字を綺麗に書けるのは、
自分なりの長所です
これって、
何事も継続していれば、
出来るようになるって事かな
今、練習しているカラオケや
ジムでの運動、ケーキ作りも
やり続けたら、上手になるのかも！
