In an unprecedented move, Croatian President Zoran Milanovic has refused to approve Israel’s new ambassador, Nissan Amdur. Citing strong opposition to Benjamin Netanyahu’s policies, Milanovic also suspended all military cooperation and urged a total halt to weapons trade with Israel. He additionally accused Israel of breaking diplomatic protocol by announcing the appointment prematurely.
