In the last few hours, more than 50 people have been killed and many more wounded.
Many victims remain trapped under the rubble or lie on the ground, as ambulances and civil defense teams are unable to reach the affected areas due to the ongoing attacks.
With these new figures, the cumulative "official" death toll since October 7, 2023, stands at 72,332, and there are 172,154 wounded. The actual figures are much higher.
Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect, there have been 737 deaths, 2,044 injuries, and 769 bodies recovered from the rubble.
Intense bombardments were carried out by Israeli ships and armored vehicles on the coast of Khan Younis and its southern areas.
