プロフィール：1941年、米・ミネソタ州生まれ。大学を中退してニューヨークに向かい、カフェでフォーク・ソングを歌っていたところを、プロデューサーの目に留り、1962年にレコード・デビュー。フォーク・ロックの時代を超えて現在まで、世界中に影響を与え続ける音楽界の最重要人物。2016年ノーベル文学賞受賞。2021年に再開したワールドツアーは2024年まで続く予定だ。
