Garden of Ψ - Dream of Φ

Junichi Kakizaki will participate in and exhibit at the exhibition "Garden of Ψ · Dream of Φ" in Higashimukojima, Tokyo. This exhibition is planned by Ayako Mino and supervised by Shigakogen Roman Museum Curator Kazufumi Suzuki, and is a homage exhibition commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Yutaka Matsuzawa, a leading figure in conceptual art. It will start at 19:19 on March 19, 2022 and will disappear at 19:19 on March 19. Junichi Kakizaki will exhibit 22 works including new and unpublished works in this exhibition. In addition, Hiroyuki Oki will screen a video work "001001: Yutaka Matsuzawa + Kazuo Ohno Collaboration" that records the performances of Yutaka Matsuzawa, Kazuo Ohno, and Yoshito Ohno at Hasedera Temple in Nagano City in 2000.

Statement

In 1964, there was an artist named Yutaka Matsuzawa who established the conceptual art after receiving the revelation "Erase the objects". What does "erase the object" mean? We think what Matsuzawa was saying was that even if the material "things" disappeared, they still exist, and that is the truth. Therefore, it can be said that Matsuzawa, who died in 2006, still exists in a quantum manner.

2022 is the 100th anniversary of Matsuzawa's birth, and in this milestone year, how can Yutaka Matsuzawa and her currently alive Tists communicate with each other through the exhibition? We hope that this exhibition can be developed as a place to put it into practice.
