When I read the book called "Onward" writen by Howard Shultz, the founder of Starbucks, Shultz mentioned his way to prepare his own coffee in the morning. He makes his coffee with a French press.
I always try it when I find something interesting.
So I bought a French press coffee maker! I paid $12 for it.
And I asked my wife to buy some grinded coffee beans.
In the following morning I made my coffee with my French press!
It smelled great! I was happy and felt good about my recent purchase!
I usually drink instant coffee with a little sugar and lots of cream.
I found out that if you put a little sugar and lots of cream, the coffee tasted the same! Smells great, but tastes the same!
I am not Howrd Shultz anyway.
I still make my coffee with my French press since I still have a lot of grinded coffee beans.

いいなと思ったら、すぐに試したいと思う私は、さっそくフレンチプレス・コーヒーメーカーを１５００円で買いました。家内には挽いたコーヒーを買ってくるよう頼みました。
次の朝、自分のフレンチプレスでコーヒーを淹れてみました。部屋にはコーヒーの香りが漂い、いい買い物をしたと上機嫌でした。
いつもはインスタントコーヒーに、砂糖少々、そしてミルクをたっぷり入れて飲みます。
フレンチプレスで淹れたコーヒーに、砂糖少々、そしてミルクたをっぷり入れると、味はいつものインスタントコーヒーと変わらないのです。香りはいいけど、味は同じ！
ハワード・シュルツのようにコーヒーの味がわかるわけではないことを痛感しました。
今朝もフレンチプレスでコーヒーを淹れて飲みました。だって、まだたくさん挽いたコーヒー粉が残っているんですもの・・・。
