今日は、ボイトレがありました〜！
楽しかったです😚
今日朝ごはんにサラダ食べたんやけど、
サラダってなんでサラダっていうのか気になってしまって調べてみました。
まず
野草を摘んでそれを塩で味付けした料理
「herba salata」
がサラダのルーツになってるらしい！！
🤤:へえ〜！！！
まず、塩を意味するラテン語でsal(サル)が原語らしいです！
それに加える「add」で
「salad」
になります！
日本にサラダがきたのは明治時代以降らしい！
ちなみに、
ドレッシングは
ドレス＝dress
「サラダにお洋服を着せて彩る」
ということらしいです！

I had a vocal training session today.
It was so much fun.
Having a salad for breakfast, I got curious about why salad is called “salad,” so I looked it up.
It came from “herba salata,” which means “salted wild grass.”
Interesting!!
“sal” comes from the Latin root, meaning “salt.”
and
they put the word “add” at the end of it, which eventually became
“salad.”
The salad was introduced to Japan after the Meiji period.
BTW
The word “dressing” literally means “dress the salad to add some colors.”
Interesting!!
I like sesame-flavored and green shiso, Japanese perilla-flavored dressing.
