It looks like exchanging stickers has been popular throughout time.
Scented highlighters, erasers with clean-up rollers...a lot of nostalgic stationery came up in the comments section.
After getting a 30-cm foldable ruler that all my classmates had, I started enjoying math class.
The day I changed to a new pencil, I actually liked studying, and my notetaking improved.
What stationery was the craze in your era?
Only students in fourth grade and above could bring pencil cases and mechanical pencils at my school, so I was into fancy pencils until then.
Pencils with jingling chains, or omikuji (fortune-telling), and I even had scented led ones.
How fun to collect all those pencils was!
My regular pencil case was completely stuffed, so I put all my collection in a big bag-style with a handle "一期一会, ichigo -ichie" series pencil case.
一期一会, ichigo-ichie series= It is a name of stationery series. （一期一会 means once-in-a-lifetime meeting or chance)
