What do you like best among them?
I like ※2 Kuro-mame and ※3 Kuri-kinton.
They are both sweet and delicious!!!
※4 I heard we eat Kuro-mame to encourage ourselves to work diligently and also to wish to keep being healthy.
I'll keep in shape and work hard with Kuro-mame power.

※1 Osechi=Traditional Japanese dish prepared only for the first three days of New Year
※2 Kuro-mame＝blackbean(s), for Osechi dish, we eat sweet ones.
※3 Kuri-kinton＝Mixed mashed sweet chestnuts and mashed sweet-potato
※4 Each ingredient in Osechi dish has a specific meaning. Here, mame(豆) in Kuro-mame is a homophone of a Japanese word mame(忠実), meaning "work diligently" "a strong body."
