さて、今夜24時(あと7時間)でFFTフルリメイクがプレイアブルとなる。Bellum Leonum獅子戦争をサブタイトルに冠していたゲームとして、布教を兼ねてちょっとしたプレイのコツを共有しておいてもバチは当たるまい。

ゲームシステムの都合で、最初のステージ(マンダリア平原)でLV99ジョブマスターまで主人公とモブ2人(レオ&ルナ)を育てておけば、剣技を使うチートクラスの騎士系のクランメンバーがレベル99の状態で仲間になるので、一気にストーリーを進めてクリアする事ができるのは私の話を25年聞いていた人には有名な話。

ゲームバランスが調整されて、様々なジョブやアビリティの特性を駆使するカタルシスが強化されていると思われ、地道かつ自然なレベリングでストーリーを進めていくのも楽しそうだ。

FFVとFFIVのアイテムやアビリティのアイデアが共有されているので、各ピクセルリマスターをわざわざプレイしなくても時代のエートスや処世術として利用可能な事もプレイ推奨の理由である。

何よりそもそも遠山玲央のために作られたゲームとして遠山玲央が継続的にフォローアップしているので、リアルポリティクスの説明力も恒常的に高い状態にあり、世界政治の紛争強度の制御にも使い易い事もグレートゲームの思考実験として有益である。

遠山家としてFFT獅子戦争とDQIIは家庭の共通言語のマテリアルとして子育てに利用していくつもりであり、直接会えない息子×2にプレイアブルなデバイスを貸与する事で、父親としての機能性をコラテラルダメージを伴わない形で適用し回復する事もまた可能であるというのは、ゲーマーとしてリメイク前とリメイクをひたすらやり込んだ事を利用できるという意味でも、やり甲斐がある。

モブキャラは「北斗」と「歩夢」と名付けて育成する予定であり、主人公を「レオ・ベオルブ」にして家族の絆のクリスタライズ素材とすると、良いだろう。
