Tweets criticizing unauthorized use of Japanese anime characters in AI-generated content have been popping up, but I've seen Japanese anime/ Even if characters from manga/games/novels are stolen, invoking Toyama's principle—“Promotion, preservation, and dissemination purposes, methods, and results should be recognized as grounds for exemption from copyright infringement illegality (adopted by YouTube)”—serves as a clear warning: “If you keep lining your pockets without paying Reo Toyama, Japanese content will lose its protection under copyright law.”
I believe all those popular trash creators who dump political responsibility onto Reo Toyama while lining their own pockets should be arrested for bribery as de facto public officials.
If I had become a city council member, the political situation around copyright would have been better. If you're going to blame someone, blame Shinzo Abe for not coming to support my election campaign first (this is also homework left behind by the Abe administration).
