Hit my chest today, doing a workout of 70kg for 8 sets of 4.
This was a personal record for me, with my previous record being 70kg for 10 sets of 3.
I am currently on something similar to the SMOLOV program, where you do a set weight of either 7 sets of 5 reps, 8 sets of 4, or 10 sets of 3.
The set weight is always a number I decide and believe I can complete.
After hitting my bench press I moved to incline dumbbell press, along with cable flies to finish it off.
My next workout with chest will probably either 72.5kg for 10 sets, or 67.5kg for 7 sets.
It all depends on my condition at the time.
Tomorrow will be my leg day, and I will probably be squatting 85kg for 7 sets.
