Silly Adventure
I wanted to do this recently, thanks to some inspiration from Kridinky. The trouble is, I wasn't feeling particularly silly, so I did what any Internet geek would do... ask the hive. This is what they came up with:
- Steel wool on string, light on fire, spin around in circles
- Build a shopping cart pyramid
- Break an egg on your head
Thanks, Internet.
The shopping cart pyramid isn't a bad idea, but I won't be able to pull it off until the weather gets better, and then, it won't be easy. Can I even lift a shopping cart onto another shopping cart? Those things are fairly heavy. No way I could get it up to the third level.
I think I'll just write some notes in library books or just hide notes in unusual places. That's always fun.

Breakfast Adventure
Been meaning to write this for a while, but I guess I just fell out of writing, you know? Anyway, I had a little project where I eat breakfast for a month. I haven't eaten breakfast for ages, so this was an experiment to see if I was really missing anything. Would the morning fuel help my day? Would I have more energy? Or would I feel more tired because I have to get up earlier just to eat?
Day 1 started with toast. It was pretty good. Getting something warm inside me was definitely nice. (‐^▽^‐)
I pretty much always had a glass of OJ with everything I ate. Back in the day, it was always about milk. There's just something about orange juice in the morning. Maybe it's too acidic? It has a sharp taste to it, does that make any sense?
One day, I actually got up early enough to cook! How do you like me now? This is really the only day I did this. I love a good hot breakfast, but there is no way I am going to get up early just to cook. Imagine if I tried to make something more complicated than eggs. I was right about the trouble it takes. This was not really that much better than just plain toast, but it's a ton more work. (=_=)
Ah, yeah, this is where it's at. Pre-made pastries. They are sweet, pretty filling, and talk about easy. This one was particularly yummy. o(^▽^)o
This is the fall-back breakfast. There is actual planning that had to go into breakfast the previous day, so if I had nothing handy, a piece of fruit would have to do. Come to think of it, if this qualifies as breakfast--and why wouldn't it?--then I've had breakfast more often than I think.
Do you remember me mention Pop Tarts a while back? This was from back then! Shocker, I know. They are not as cardboardy as I recall. This was probably one of my favorite breakfasts because they are even less hassle than toast! I know, I'm lazy. Give me a break. Toast has a better texture and I guess is healthier for you, but man, I could burn through one of these in two minutes if I needed to.
The end of the experiment ended with oatmeal. Now this is something I haven't had in ages. This is the instant variety, and it was actually really good. The only issue is that the stuff is really hot, so it takes some real time to eat.
What did I find out? Having breakfast is nice, but it doesn't really make a difference, at least for me. I felt less hungry during the day, but by my next meal, it's not like I ate less. As such, there was no affect on weight. One thing I guess it did help with was getting me out of bed. I usually just stay in bed for a while, but since I had something nice to get up to, I got up earlier. This should have made me more alert and productive, but I don't recall that being the case. It has been a while since I last had breakfast, and I don't really miss it. I think about eating, but I'm just not hungry. Perhaps it's my late night snacking, hehe.
