5-Hour Adventure
I remembered! What I was talking about was the amazing 5-hour Energy drink.
The commercials for this stuff have been everywhere, or maybe just onthe channels I happen to watch, but the point is that I have seen themmany many times. The advertisers win because I tried the stuff.
I had it before a day of sports, and it didn't seem to help at all. I mean nothing! The bottle says that it's loaded with like two cups of coffee's worth of caffine in a shot. Coffee has never done anything for me, so maybe that's the problem. Try number two was a few days later before a hike, and again, nothing. What a disappointment. I figured I'd get totally hyped up and full of energy, but there was zero effect on me. At least it did not taste as bad as I had heard. It's pretty obvious that the "berry" is just the closest thing it tastes like, and they just steer the flavor a little over that way to make it sound good.
Now, it's time to try a Red Bull, never had one of those either.

Food Adventure
Hold that thought. I forgot what I was talking about from the last entry. I actually remembered it a few days ago, but I didn't write anything, and so I forgot again. Could I have meant my attempt to cook a soft-boiled egg? Or maybe my new quest to find the best instant ramen. My whole life, I've been eating the cheapest $0.10 ramen packs, but I've recently been trying the $0.50-$0.70 packs. A dollar for a pack of ramen?! What?! I don't know if I'll go that far. As of yet, I have not been super impressed.
Avocado Adventure
I tried an avocado again. This time, it was super soft with streaks of brown. That's can't be good right? Was it totally rotten, because I gave it a shot anyway. I had waited too long not to try, and I know that it browns after being exposed to air, so I was thinking it was just old. It's been a few days, and I feel fine. o_O If I die soon, you'll know why.
The experience was... nothing special. It always tastes so good in sushi, but straight out of the fruit itself, there wasn't as much flavor or something. I tossed on a little salt, and it was pretty cool. I might try one more time, but it was kind of disappointing, like when I ate a coconut for the first time. Ho-hum.
