結弦君の言葉の部分一部お借りしてきました

Extracted some of Yuzu's comments from it.

 

 

 

「僕がプロ転向するにあたって最初に言ったことは、アスリートであるということ。
フィギュアスケートは基本的にスポーツでありながら、アーティスティックなことをやるのですが、それをやるためのアスリートの面が8割くらいある競技だと思っています。
体力がないと全然滑れない。
そもそも技術がないと4回転は回れない。
（アイスストーリーでは）30分ぐらい滑った後に、4回転2本の構成をやるなんてほぼ不可能に近かった。
What I mentioned when I announced turning professional was, I have been an athlete.
Figure Skating is basically a sport but also performing artistically, however, I think it is a sport which is required about 80% of athletic aspect to perform artistically.
Without enough stamina, you cannot skate.
Whatever, without enough skills, you cannot jump quadruples.
It’s impossible to perform a programme with two quad jumps (as like the ice story) after skating for about 30 minutes.

プロを続けるにあたって一番大事にしてるのは、プロになったからといってアートの世界に傾倒するわけにはいかない、ということ。
とにかく僕がやってきたのはスポーツであるという自負がある。
スポーツマンとして、アスリートとしての強さ、感動。
僕らがもらってきたスポーツの力の感動と、アートの感動をかけ合わせ続けなきゃいけないなというのが今の僕のプロの矜持でしょうか」
What the most important think to keep performing as a professional must be even being professional, I shouldn’t switch over to the world of art.
I have been taking pride that what I have been working for is a sprot.
There’re the strength and impressions as an athlete.
Probably, it’s my pride as a professional now, that I should create something while combining the strength and impressions of the sport which I have inherited with impression of Art.

 

 

 

 

「人生において目標設定はすごく難しい。
近い目標であればあるほど達成はしやすいけど、達成感というレベルにおいてはあまり自己効力感が生まれない。
でも、あまりにも遠く離れた目標だと達成できないから、ただただ辛い日々が続くだけなんですよね。
でも、きっと僕にとってはめちゃくちゃ離れた目標のほうが、その道中を苦しみながらも、ある意味で楽しめる」
It is difficult to set goals while you are living.
When a goal is close to what you are doing it would be easy to achieve, but in terms of satisfaction, you cannot feel a sense of self-efficacy fully.
However, when a goal is far away, then you can’t achieve it, but you just keep having tough and painful days, don’t you？
Anyway, for me, setting extreme goals may be enjoyable, while struggling along the way.

「やっと知識、イメージと身体がまた一段階、上のところに手を伸ばせるようになったなという感じなんですよね。
自分のイメージと身体が一致することはまだまだ少ないですが、やっと、どういうふうに練習していったら、こういう身体になっていくか、とか。
目標を立てた時、その目標達成のための道のりをだいぶ理解してきたつもり。
でもきっと40歳になったら、まだあの時は全然わかってなくて……となると思うんですけどね。
それをずっと繰り返しているような気がしますね」
“Now, I feel that finally I can extend my knowledge, images and physical to one step higher level.
Although it’s still rare to match my images and physical, however, now I feel that I’m finally figure out how to practice to develop my physical.
When I set a goal, now I feel I understand of the path to achieve the goal.
Probably, when I will be 40 years old, I may think ‘oh, I didn’t understand at all those days.’
I think I’ll continue such throughout my life.

この発言は逆に考えると

40になっても今よりも更に

深化/進化/新化した自分がいることが

前提になっているよね

常に常に進化を続ける「羽生結弦」が

そこにいる！！！

His means, even when he becomes 40 years old,

Yuzu believes that he'll be keep evolving.

Hanyu Yuzuru must keep evolving

throughout his life.
