Y：あまして・・・・ありがとうございました～
Happy New Yeas, and thank you very much.
N:お疲れ様でした新年の　新しい年のアイスショー初日が終わりましたけれど・・
Thank you, and how do you feel finishing the first ice show in the new year？
Y：はいいやもう本当になんか
全部のプログラムで全力を出しきれたし
あと1つ1つのなんか物語だったりとか
その自分が大切にしている音だったりとか
そういったものを本当に丁寧に丁寧に紡ぎながら
1個1個気持ちを込めて
滑ることができたとは思います
Yes, well I feel I was able to exert all my power and sprits in all programmes.
And I feel that I was able to skate putting my heart into each and every story or
sound I have been cherishing.

N：なんかお客さんの反応もすごい1曲1曲すごい多かったと思うんですけれども羽生さん自身が滑られててこう1番手応えを感じた今日の演目は？
It looked the audience’s responses for each programme were really exciting though, which programme of today, Hanyu-san, you felt the biggest response?
Y：Utiaとマスディスと・・GATE OF STEINERですかね
なんか・・・あのMass Destructionはほんと
あのぉ～回を重ねるごとにどんどん
皆さんがこの曲自体を楽しんでくださってて
で～自分の動きだったりとか
自分の目線だったり
表情であったり
そういったなんかふりの1つ1つに対しての
皆さんのレスポンスがどんどん
ノリノリになっていくのが分かっていて
なんか本当会場が一体となる瞬間が楽しいなって思ってます
Probably, Utia and Mass Destruction and, , ,GATE OF STEINER.
Well, it seems each time, more and more audience
enjoyed these programmes,
and such as my moves or
even my line of sight, or
expressions, , , all those, for each and every move
I felt the audience’s responses get more and more excited,
and I enjoy the moment when
the audience became one.

でUtaiに関しては
より一層神聖な気持ちでというか
1つ1つの動きのキレであったりとか
なんかその氷上でやるからこその
強さとか音の取り方みたいなものが
やっとなんか出てきたかなっていう
手応えがありました
Then, about Utai,
something rather, , , skating with sacred feeling. . ,
each and every sharpness of moves, or
strength or the way to follow the sound
which can be done only on the ice,
such performances are somewhat developed, I felt.

GATE OF STEINERに関しては
本当にEchoes of Lifeの中の
Novaの心境を本当1つ1つ丁寧に丁寧に
紡げたかなっていうふうに
自分では思ってます
And then about GATE OF STEINER.
I feel that I was able to express
each and every feeling of Nova,
who is the character of Echoes of Life, carefully.

N：答えの出てくる瞬間みたいな感じ？
You mean the moment of reaching the answer？
Y：なんか・・自分のその運命とか
自分の過去とか
どうせできないみたいな
諦めみたいなところと
でもそこに対して何か模索し続ける
でその模索し続ける先に
なんか自分のこの人生を受け入れる
この人生にはたくさんの
絆とか　いろんな人たちが
自分を支えてくれてるんだっていうのを
なんとなくNovaが思っているような気がして
そういうのを表現したつもりです
Something, , , well, like, , , fate or past,
or such as surrendering, , ,
like feeling I can’t do it, , ,
having such but yet keep exploring,
and in the future of it,
accepting his life as his own, and
founding that there are many relations and
many people to support him,
such thoughts I think Nova has, and
that what I tried to express with the programme.

N：やっぱりあの皆さんの思い出深いバラード1番だと思うですけど
Whatever, for your fans, Ballade No.1 is something special, I think , , ,
Y：バラ1はバラ1でやっぱり
やっぱピョンチャン・オリンピックで
使用した楽曲であり
そしてピョンチャン・オリンピックの時の
現在では使われていない難易度のショートプログラムを
そのままこの照明込みで滑っているので
もちろん難しいことは難しいんですけど
でも本当全力で試合以上に
気合入れてやりきれたなとは思います
Yes, Ballade No.1 is as you know
the programme I used in PyeongChang Olympics,
and in this show, I skate the same difficult components
which is not used today’s competition, and
it is skated in the show atmosphere, with the lightings
so it is really difficult, however,
I think I was able to perform putting
more energy into it than I did in a competition.

N：このツアーではショートとフリーと両方見れて・・あの最後
In this show, not only the short but also Free, the both programmes, ,
Y：あ！SEIMEIがあるからか
Oh, that’s right, you mean, SEIMEI

確かにそっかピョンチャンなのか
Oh, yes, yes, PyeongChang programmes, , ,

全然・・・全然意図してなかった
I didn’t think about it at all.

N：だからお得なツアー
So, it’s a very gorgeous tour for fans, , ,
Y：そうですよ実はあのピョンチャンオリンピックの
ハイライトが見れるというショーなので
ぜひぜひ楽しみにしてください
Oh, yes, true, you can appreciate the highlight of
PyeongChang Olympics, why now

N：今日お客様に向かってのお話の中にもありましたが広島への思いというのもあると思うんですけれども
And as you also talked about it at the end of the show, I think you may have a special thought, because the show is going on here in Hiroshima.
Y：元々小学校・・低学年の時に
授業の一環でそのぉ・・図書室で
読書感想文を書けっていう課題があって
その時に多分なんか僕建造物というか
建築物みたいなものが建物が好きで昔から・・・
お城とかも好きなんですけど
でなんかその延長線上になんかはまったのか
たまたま原爆ドームのシルエットを見た時に
何か惹かれてそれでその本を読んで
読書感想文を書いたっていうのが
僕が広島にまず興味を持った1番最初のきっかけだったんですね
At the first, when I was in the primary school,
there was a class we were told to write a book review.
I have been interested in structures
or buildings, such as castles, and because of it
I was attracted by the silhouette of
the Atomic Bomb Dome, so that
I decided to read the book on Hiroshima.
It became the first opportunity to think about Hiroshima.

それからその原爆についてとか
ここで起こったこととか色んなことについて
考えたりまたそのぉそれこそなんだろう
うん・・・命の大切さだとか
震災とはまた違ったものですけど
突然起こる不幸みたいなものって
どうにかなんないのかなっていうことを
なんか小学生ながらすごく考えたきっかけの1つでした
でそれから自分にとって広島という土地が
すごく大切なというか思い入れのある土地になってます
Then I started thinking about the atomic bomb, or
what has happened here in Hiroshima or
also, , , well, the importance of life.
It’s different from something related to the Disaster though,
even though I was a primary school student,
it became an opportunity for me to
think any thing we can do for
unfortunate events which suffer us suddenly.
Since then, Hiroshima became
a special place, an emotionally involved place for me.

N：演出をされたMIKIKO先生の出身地でもありますしなんかちょっと思いがいっそう・・
Hiroshima is also a birthplace of MIKIKO-sensei, who direct this, so , , ,
Y：あの多分MIKIKO先生はMIKIKO先生で
多分このEchoes of Lifeというものに対しての
その命というものをやっぱりテーマとして
扱うからには思い描くストーリーであったりとか
伝えたい表現だったりとかがあったとは思います
I think MIKIKO-sansei has her own story
of her thought or
expression to deliver
through Echoes of Life, which has
the theme focusing on “life”.

2025年はとにかく努力をし続けて
まだまだ研究しがいのあるトレーニング内容であったりとか
まだまだ進化の余地のある

working hard daily to
improve and develop myself more and more since
I believe that there are more things I can do
to improve my Figure Skating,
such as training methods which may have more to learn,
Cherishing every minute and every second,
I would like to spend days of year 2025.
