仙台市からも結弦君がいらっしゃっていたんだよね

While we were crazy about

"Echoes" of happiness,

there was LINE post by Sendai City.

Although the contents are about

staff recruitment by Sendai City,

well, for us, Yuzu's pictures are important 照れ

 

 

 

 

 

そして 仙台市の教員採用パンフレットに

結弦君からもメッセージがあると聞きつけ探しました

And also Sarah heard that

Sendai city released a new leaflet

for recruting teachers, and

in it, there's Yuzu's message, so, , ,

「どこまでわかるの？」”How far you understand now？”
私は、小中高とこの仙台で過ごしました。
この12年を振り返ると、喜び、悩み、苦しみなど多くの経験をしてきました。
そして、この経験には、いつも近くに友が いて、先生がいて、クラスがありました。
 特に先生方には大変お世話になりました。
 優しい先生、厳しい先生、熱い先生、静かな先生、授業の上手な先生など、個性あふれる多 くの先生方と出会うことができました。
今、私もスケート教室などで教えることが あります。
I spent my primary, secondary school years here in Sendai.
In retrospect, during those 12 years, I have experienced lots of hoys, worries and hard time.
And all those experiences, there were my friends, teachers and class mates with me.
In particular, I was greatly indebted to my teachers.
I had opportunities to encounter so many teachers who were full of personality, such as teachers who is gentle, strict, passionate, quiet, or teachers who were truly good at teaching.
Now, I also have opportunity to instruct how to skate.

自分の考えていること、思っていることを伝えることの難しさを感じています。
こんな時、これまでご指導いただいた先生方に、どのように教えていただいたのかを思い出すことがあります。
小学校の授業の時、わからずに悩んでいると先生が「どこまでわかるかな？」
「次はどうしたらいいかな？」と話しかけてくれました。 
「どこがわからないの？」ではなく、「わかる のはどこまで？」なのです。
当時は答えの導き方を教えてほしかったと思いますが、今考えると「自分のできることはどこまでか」、そして「次にどうすればいいのか」を自己分析する力と自主的に解決する力を育てていただいたのかと思っています。
I find it difficult to convey what I am thinking or feeling.
On such an occasion, I often remember how my teachers taught me.
When I was an primary school student, and when I had trouble to understand, the teacher asked me “how far you understand now?” “Then think what is the next.”
The teacher didn’t ask me “which part you can’t understand?” but he(she) said “which part you understand now.”
In those days, I wanted him(her) to teach me the way to solve though, when I look back now, through asking me “how far you understand” and “then what is the next to think about”, I think he(she) helped me to develop my ability to analyse myself and to solve problems voluntarily.

今、一人一人がどのようにしたいのかを具体的に聞きながら「教える」ではなく、その子がどのようにしたいのかを支援し、一緒に成長を楽しむことができたらと思っています。 
ぜひ、先生を目指している皆さんには、児童・生徒の心に寄り添い、仙台の子の成長のために、そして皆さんにも仙台を楽しんでいただければと思います。
よろしくお願いいたします。
Now, instead of “teaching” each child by asking them specifically what they want to do, I want to support them in how they want to do it and I would like to enjoy their growth together with them.
I hope that all of you who are aiming to be teachers will also enjoy your Sendai life not only for yourself but also for the growth of children while trying to be considerate of students’ feelings.

結弦君は素晴らしい先生や指導者たちと

ご縁があったんだなぁって思えるのと同時に

どんなに素晴らしく教えてもらっても

指導してもらっても

それを受ける側が ちゃんと受け止めていなければ

結局大きな学びにはつながらないんだろうな

結弦君って 素直に教えを受け止めることができる人だし

教えられた 指導してもらったことを

身に着け そこから さらに次へと結びつける

努力を怠らない人だから

期待される何倍もの

大きな成果を生み出せているんだろうな・・・・

To be a good teacher must be difficul,

each and every child has different mind, , ,

However, even though there's a wonderful teacher,

giving most useful instructions, however

when a child didn't accept it properly,

then, , , 

Yuzu's pure mind can accept such instructions

and develop those instructions further,

doing so, Yuzu may be able to bear

great resuls, , , ,

 

 

 

 

 

 

なんか・・・9日と11日の衝撃から

色々と考えたり 思ったり・・・と

で まだふわふわと宇宙をさまよっているような気持ちだけど

ちょっとずつ振り返って行こうかなと

というか まだ 気持ちが落ち着いていない

Experienced such a great story

on 9th and 11th at the venue,

still Sarah feels like flying in the outer space.

Lots thoughts and words and, , , many

in Sarah's mind though, they are jammed, , ,
