全てセルフプロデュースのアイスショーという新しい表現に挑戦するなど、自身のあり方を追求し続ける羽生結弦。
表現者として揺るぎない信念を語る一方、その中で自ら足りないものは“語彙力”だと言う。
「身体表現にも語彙力が必要」「とことん勉強して、それを氷上でやることができたら、それは唯一無二の存在になれるのではないかと思っているんです」とハングリー精神旺盛な一面を見せた。
氷上は自分自身にとって“母国語”みたいなものだと明かし、どこまでも唯一無二の羽生結弦として、氷上での表現を極める彼が日頃考えていることを『GQ JAPAN』だけに語った。
