結弦君は色んな素敵な出会いがあったけど

清塚さんとの出会いも人生を大きく膨らませる出会いの1つだったに違いない！！

Yuzu had lots and lots lovely encounters throughout his life so far,

and encoutering Kiyozuka must be

one of the encounters for him to develop his world.

 

清塚: もともとね、メドレーの中の1つとして「春よ、来い」を1分ぐらいで弾いていたのね。
結弦: 1分しかない曲を「この曲凄い素晴らしいんで3分ぐらいにしてもらえますか」っていった。
清塚さんの演奏じゃないと、これは創れないだろうなってのは、すごく感じたので。
Kiyo: First, I picked up “Haruyo, Koi” for a medley, it was just one minute or so I played in it.
Yuzu: That one-min piece, I aksed “this music sound fantastic, could you please make it about 3 minutes?” I asked.
I strongly felt that if it weren’t Kiyozuka-san’s sound, I wouldn’t be able to create this.

結弦君の春さんを観ていると、まる～っと「春よ、来い」が心に浮かんでくる

でも、実はそうなんだよねぇ、サビ部分しか使っていない
歌のメインの部分は結弦君の春さんには入っていない

けど、けど、だけど、あの「春よ、来い」の切なくもでも希望を求める姿が浮かんでくる
これってさぁ本当にプロのなせる業だよね
実際には「春よ、」は結弦君のアマチュア時代からのプログラムだけど、

既にプロだったことよね
When we watch Yuzu performing “Haruyo,” we feel as if we were listening to the while song of “Haruyo, Koi” but actually, as they said the music keep repeating the chorus part.
The main part of the song is not played in the programme, but even though, we can feel so many things from the programme.
They are really professional.
Well, actually, when Yuzu started performing “Haruyo,” he was an amateur though, already he had professional skills！





同じ旋律が繰り返されているにもかかわらず

清塚さんの巧みにアレンジされたピアノに

氷上の結弦君のスケートが重なり春待ちの色んな想いを心に描かせてくれる
壮大な音楽を使わずとも、楽譜上では単調な音楽であっても

それを奏でる人、演じる人によって

オペラや映画音楽の世界のような深みのある世界が創りだせてしまう
However, just repeating the same melody, together with Kiyozuka’s skillful arrangement, Yuzu’s performance on the ice makes us imagine various thoughts of waiting for Spring.
Despite using grandiose music, even the music is monotonous on the score, persons who plays it and performs it are the real professional, then then can create a deep and thoughtful world like the world of opera or film.
 

 

Y: 尺の都合で、パズルゲームのように後ろ、こう持ってきて繋げましたっていうことが、必ずしもやっぱり音楽としてね、うまくいっているかどうかというのは、難しい問題でね。そこにすごく目を付けたというか。
Y: 音楽をぶった切って、フィギュアスケーターのために作りましたじゃなくって、ちゃんと音楽があって、フィギュアスケートがあって、スケーターがいて、で、それを見た時にちゃんと物語として、作品として成立しているよねっていうのが一番いい。
あの、僕、クラシックTVのめちゃくちゃファンなので・・。
K: わ～うれしい。
Y: いつも見てるんですけど、あ、ここ切ってるところ、多分作曲家の方々見たら、「あ、そこ切ったの？」とかって言われるんだろうなぁって・・
Y: To fix music for Figure Skating, just like a puzzle game, cut and add the last part, like that can’t be always accepted as music, whether it sound ok or not is a difficult matter. But you focused on it.
Y: Not simply cutting music and arranged for Figure Skating is not the way for me, there’s music properly prepared, and Figure Skating and a skater are there, and when all together, there’s a story, and a piece of work there, this way would be the best for me.
By the way, I’m a great fan of “Classic TV.”
K: Wow, so happy to know it.
Y: I often watch this, and when I found a part of music “oh, I cut this part”, when the composer found it, “oh, did you cut here?” they may upset, thinking such I watch.

結弦君も清塚さんも単に演技のための音楽という気持ちではなく、

2人で作り出す「世界」への想いがあるから、

だから2人の合作は聞き見る側にも深い想いをもたらしてくれるんだろうね

結弦君のスケートはダンサブルな世界も素敵だけど、

それも同様に（既存の音楽を使っていても）まずプログラムの構想を持った時から、

結弦君の心には「世界」が描かれているんだろうな

そこには楽曲の持つ「世界」を大事に大事にしながら、

その楽曲が結弦君の心に届いた時の「世界」をそこに重ね合わせ、

そして結弦君が届ける「世界」が出来上がってくるんだろう

更にその「世界」は、見る側の心にそれぞれの人生背景によってもたらされた

色や景色が重なることも考えつくされて届けられているんだろうな

Yeah, not only Yuzu but Kiyozuka too, when they work together, they may not think the music is a background, but they may have a strong will or thought to create a “world”, so that their collaboration work can bring such deep sceneries to us.

Even when Yuzu is performing danceable programmes (even when he uses original recorded sound), when Yuzu started thinking about a new programme, he may have a “world” to express in his mind already.

Cherishing the original world of the music, Yuzu may add another “world” which he felt when he listened it, and created the “world” he would perform.

Furthermore, the “world” when it was delivered to audience, according to how we lived so far, many personal experiences were added in it, and the performance remains in our hearts together with different colours and sceneries.
