結弦君がYouTubeでこだわって届けてくれているのは

The art which was uploaded
on 5 FEB, last yeart.
Through YouTube videos,
Yuzu has been delivering not only
the super-skilled skating, nor
the most confortable fusion between his skaing and music but
also thrilling and enchanting sound
his skates cutting the ice.

It was just like we were in the deepest bottom of despair.
“If necessary, let’s get a small wagon to deliver to bookshops by ourselves.”

To all who have been await
Today, finally “y” has started travelling to each of you. Thank you for waiting for such a long time, and I’d deeply apologise. (…)
We even didn’t know how to apologise in December when we had to decide to postpone of the photobook release.
But you told us “we can wait”, persons from Hanyu-senshu-side said “don’t worry, but do work for the best.” We received hope.
At the first the title of the photobook was “CURTAIN CALL”, considering Hanyu-senshu’s first professional year as a stage, but it didn’t sit well with us.
Then we decided to use the letter “Y” from YUZURU, but the small letter “y”, since it gives us an image of “moving forward to the future.”(…)
We aimed at creating a photobook which people can listen to music. Figure skaters follow sound just like jumping on the keyboard of a piano. When they become better, then they skate on a staff notation. Then the skater who can add his skating sound to the staff notation is Hanyu Yuzuru-senshu. It was not occurred after he turned professional but since he was a competitor.
Of course those who are away from the rink or watching TV can’t hear his skating sound, sound his costume makes his of breathing sound.
But they can feel those sound.
He is the one and only who can embody sound.
The photographer who are close to him has to shoot such sound into his photos.
And the photobook should play the music. (…)
When you receive the photobook, please check whether programme music, clear sound of Hanyu Yuzuru-senshu’s skating, the rustle of his costumes, and his heated breathing sound till the last page.
Wishing Hanyu Yuzuru-senshu’s journey to pursuing his dream will last forever and we can follow him together.

さて、今日もまた記念日であります！
結弦君が19回目の世界記録更新をした日
And today is also a commemorative day.
Yes, on this day in 2020
Yuzu broke his 19th-time world record. 
輝かしい日、でもやっぱりちょっと（かなり）悔しさもある。

「バラード第1番」で、平昌五輪とは比べ物にならないくらいにほぼ完ぺきなジャンプを
すべてステップから組み込んで音にもピタッとはめて
表現しようとする世界観をまったく崩さない
自分の中ではほぼ完ぺきだったと言ってもいいジャンプを揃えた上での演技だったのに
マックスのGOEが出なかった。（･･･）
色んな意味で迷いはなくなりました。
何か、『そうか』っていう・・・。
『そういう競技なのか』って。
そういうことしか評価されないんだなという
諦めみたいなものは正直ありました。

Although I performed perfect jumps which were incomparable to jumps I did in PyeongChang Olympics,
all were incorporated steps which perfectly matched with the sound, and
never spoiled the worldview of what I tried to express;
it was such a performance with quality jumps that I can call it
“perfect”,
however I wasn’t able to get the maximum GOE. （･･･）
In many ways, I no longer hesitate.
Something “oh, is it an answer?” or “this is the competition they conduct” such thought came to me.
Only “such ways” they appreciate, I somewhat abandoned, to be honest.

世界記録はこうしたけど、本当はもっともっと得点があったはず。
結弦君はもうこの頃には完全に
「競技」に見切りをつけていたんだろうな・・・
（そして今も「競技」という名の茶番は続いているけど）
4Ａがなかったら、多分・・・スーパースラム達成で
プロ転向だったかもしれないね
Although he broke the world record,
the score should have been much more.
Yuzu already has given up on judges at that time.
(Still they are enjoying farce-compeititons)
If Yuzu didn't dream about his 4A,
yeah, he had been professional after
achieving the Super Slam.
