自分が思い描いていた活動のスタート　Yuzu interviewed in Sendai

「は～い！よいしょ！」

Wow, oh, cool-cutie！！

3月9日に、ミヤテレさんから予告があって、で・・10日ライブ配信もしてくれつつも、notte stellataと重なってしまっていた番組。

その中から結弦君の部分だけの動画をアップしてくださった。

Miyagi TV announced on 9 Mrach that they would have a specail show to remember 3.11 with a film of the interview to Yuzu, it was streamed live though, at the same timing as notte stellata was streamed live, so we missed it. . .

But today, they uploaded Yuzu's interview part video, thanks！！！

Only two parts though, added English subs.

プロ転向して初めて迎える3月11日にそういう発信ができるということことに関してはどのようにお考えですか？

Now, you’ll be able to deliver your thought on 11th March, on the day, first time since you turned professional, how do you feel about it?

やっぱりプロになったからだなっていうことは改めて感じています。

この時期にアイスショーを行うってこと自体が、アマチュアの競技会時代だとどうしても難しくて、ただ自分が競技会から離れてプロとして新しい現役の姿みたいなものを始めたからこそできるものだと思っているんですよね。

やっぱり実際こうやって会場に来て、この場所で滑る演目を練習する中で、少しずつ、あ～自分はプロになったんだなっていうか、やっとここから自分が思い描いていた活動のスタートを切ることができるんだなぁって感覚はあります。

I again feel that since I turned professional, now I can do this kind of activities.

holding an ice show in this period of a season is inevitably difficult when I was an amateur competitor, however, since now I have left the competitions and started a new form of active skater as a professional, so that I feel that why I can do this kind of activities.

Now, I actually came to the show venue, and started practicing the programmes I will perform in the show, gradually I started feeling that I’m now a professional skater, and from now, I can make a start for the activities I have been envisioning.

ソチの頃から？その前からから・・・

ずっと、この日を心に描いていたんだね・・・・。

Since Sochi? or even before it,

Yuzu has been dreaming about the day when

he would do all what he has in his mind to encourage people suffered. . .

羽生さんの大好きなスケートをして、その気持ちを表してくれるっていうことに、本当に多くのファンの人も宮城県の人も、みんな心強いと思ってると思いますし、また「ありがとう」ってみんな思ってるんだろうと思います。

You’ll deliver your thoughts through your skating which you love very much, many fans, including Miyagi citizens, everyone is feeling your power to encourage us, as well as thanking you, I believe.

こちらこそありがたいなぁって・・・特に最近思うことは・・・

僕は今まで競技会をずっとやっていってオリンピックを2連覇したりだったりだとか、世界選手権を2回タイトル獲ったりだとか、いろんなことがありましたけど、きっと結果だけとっていたら皆さんの心に残るってことではなくて、いろんな方々が応援してくださるからこそ結果もまた色んな方の記憶に残るし、僕ん中でもすごく大切なものになってるんだなっていうことを最近改めて感じてます。

なので、今回の演技もただ今までは、3月11日に祈りを、想いを込めて毎年滑っていましたけれども、今回は今回でやっぱりいろんな方がその瞬間を見てくださるからこそ、きっと生まれる意味だったり、思いだったりがあると思うので、そういったものを大切にしながら皆さんと共に祈ったり、希望を感じたり、楽しんだり、そんな時間にしたいと思っています。

It’s me who thank them. . . especially, these days what I think is. . .

So far, I have won the back-to-back Olympic titles, also twice world titles, and many memories I have, however, now I think what I did remain people’s heart and I feel all those are very precious but that’s not because I made records but because many people have kept cheering me.

So that today’s performance too. Every year I skate with my prayer and all my heart on 11 March, but this time, many people will watch me at the moment (I skate), because of it, I think there will be some meaning or thoughts emerged. So cherishing all such I would like to share time with people while praying, feeling hope and enjoying with everyone.

ずっと、ず～っと結弦君は思っていたんだろうね

「共に、前へ」って、でも、

ずっとずっと独りでその日の祈りの捧げてきた・・・。

結弦君の「希望」が1つ叶った日でもあったんだよね。

辛い思いを確実に未来の「希望」につなげた日だったんだね。

And for 11 years, while offering his prayer all by himself,

Yuzu must be dreaming the day of

"Together, forward"

and finally 12th year, Yuzu's "hope" was relised,

together with many people, he was able to offer his prayer,

felt "hope" and enjoyed.

It may be a commemorative day for Yuzu and all of us

that tough and sad memories were connected to

hope in the future.
