レモンパイさんがおっしゃるように、今日は結弦君のオリンピック連覇記念日で祭日かな？😁

Well, didn't ask nore take photos though, somehow, in the downtown area of Mishima City, Sarah lives, they are hoissting the nationl flags, why? 

Well, maybe because, it's the day Yuzu won the consecutive Olympic Gold? 😸

Hanyu Yuzuru wins the back-to-back Olympic title in PyeongChang Olympics.
2018（平成30）年2月17日、韓国で開催されていた平昌オリンピックで、フィギュアスケートの男子シングルで羽生結弦選手が日本勢最初の金メダルを獲得しました。
On 17 February, 2018, Hanyu Yuzuru became the first gold medallist among the Team Japan winning it in men’s single Figure Skating in the PyeongChang Olympics in South Korea.
羽生選手にとっては2014年のソチオリンピックに続いての金メダルであり、冬季五輪の個人種目で日本人男子が連覇を達成したのは初めてのこと。同種目の連覇は五輪史上においても66年ぶりの快挙でした。
It is the second gold medal for Hanyu following 2014 Sochi Olympics, and in the individual events in Winter Olympics, it was the first time that a Japanese male athlete has won back-to-back gold medals. Moreover, the consecutive victory in the same event was the great achievement accomplished first time in 66 years in the Olympic history.

ちなみに、平昌オリンピックで大活躍した羽生選手は演技前に十字を切る動作をしますが、実際には「十字」ではなくて「士」で、競技に臨んでジャンプしたときに、体の中心軸と両肩を平衡に保つための、おまじないだとのエピソードも話題となりました。

"Hanyu Yuzuru Photo Exhibition 2022" too,started supporting Turkey Earthquake victims

 

 

  【羽生結弦展2022情報】トルコ地震被災地の救援・復興に基金から1000万円を寄付
10 M yen from  the fund of Hanyu Yuzuru Photo Exhibition 2022 to be donated to the disaster relief &rehabilitation in afected areas in Turkey.

 

 

読売光と愛の事業団は2月17日、読売新聞社が「羽生結弦展2022」のオリジナルグッズ販売売上から寄付して積み立てた災害救済基金から、1000万円をトルコ地震被災地の救援・復興に役立てることを決めました。
YOMIURI LIGHT AND HUMANITY ASSOCIATION announced that they decided to donate 10 million yen from the fund accumulated through the sales of Hanyu Yuzuru Photo Exhibition 2022 official goods to support the disaster relief and rehabilitation activities in the disaster affected areas in Turkey.

同基金は、国内で大規模自然災害が起こった場合の救援・復興を想定していましたが、トルコとシリアで４万人以上が亡くなられるなど被害が深刻化していることから拠出することにいたしました。親日国のトルコは、2011年の東日本大震災では援助隊を派遣し、行方不明者の捜索などに協力してくれました。
The fund was supposed to be used for relief and rehabilitation activities in areas damaged by a large-scale natural disaster in domestically though, since the situation in Turkey and Syria where over 40,000 people were killed by the disaster is becoming more and more serious, they decided to contribute for them. Turkey one of the pro-Japanese counties, dispatched their relief team to cooperate in the searching for missing people immediately soon after the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011.

 

 

 

 

 

 

トルコのスポーツ紙、よく結弦君の凄さを呟いてくれているんだよね。

被災地、ちょっと政治的、民族的に複雑だから、救援はより難しいところもあるかと思う。

寄付はとにかく、現地で一番必要とされることに使ってもらえるように、現地、しっかりと管理してね！

こういう形で被災者の何らかの助けになるって、なんか被災地と自分の距離が狭まり、

色々と親身になれるきっかけにもなって、これからの支援とかにもつながると思うのよね。

Turkey sports site often reported about how great Yuzu is. . . 

It's too serious to it may need lots time for the rehabilitation, so it must be also very important for us not to forget.

The donation itself may work a lots at the same time, through this news, hopefully more and more people will be interested to support or cooperate with acitivities to support people affected.
